And Elohim made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle aftertheir kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after hiskind: and Elohim saw that it was good. - Genesis 1: 25

And Yah-HavahElohim commanded theman, saying:Of every tree of thegarden thou mayestfreely eat: But of the treeof the knowledge ofgood and evil, thou shaltnot eat of it: for in theday that thou eatestthereof thou shalt surelydie. - Genesis 2: 16, 17

CommandIt is agreed that the term “command” in the Scripture-always has reference to the prohibition of idolatry. Thissin has its root in the liver, which is the seat of passion,and it has been laid down that "to fall into a passion islike worshiping idols".Ha-AdamThe ManSayingThe expression "the man (Ha-Adam)" designatesbloodshed, on the analogy of the verse: "by man shallhis. blood be shed" (Genesis 9: 6). This sin has its root in thegall (Lilith), the sword of the angel of death, after theverse: " For the lips of a strange woman drop as anhoneycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But herend is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword"(Proverbs. 5: 4).The expression "saying" refers to lechery, which has itsroot in the spleen, as it is written, “Such is the way of anadulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, andsay, I have done no lechery.” (Proverbs 30: 20). - Zohar
