Day 1In Disguise RelaySupplies2 suitcases filled with disguises: hats, glasses, scarves,shoes, play cameras, shirts, etc.Cones, tape, or rope for start and f<strong>in</strong>ish l<strong>in</strong>esPre-Prep1. Set up a start and f<strong>in</strong>ish l<strong>in</strong>e at least 25 feet apart.2. Divide the disguises <strong>in</strong>to the two suitcases and placeboth at the f<strong>in</strong>ish l<strong>in</strong>e a little way apart from eachother.Teach<strong>in</strong>g Tie-InDisguises are used to make fake identities. They are notthe real deal. Today, people believe <strong>in</strong> gods who arefakes, too. There is only one God that is not a fake—and that is the one true God of the Bible! Our God isthe real deal!Class Time Directions1. Divide players <strong>in</strong>to two teams and have them l<strong>in</strong>e up.One team will be the “Sleuths” and one will be the“Spies.”2. On the go signal, one player from each team must raceto his suitcase and put on a shirt and two other items.Then they must race back to their team and take offall of the items, pass<strong>in</strong>g them to the next player. Thatplayer then puts on all the items and races back tothe suitcase to switch them out for a new disguisecomb<strong>in</strong>ation.3. This cycle cont<strong>in</strong>ues until the last player has changedcostumes and made it back to the team. Day 1In Disguise RelayTip Corner• Make sure you have at least one shirt <strong>in</strong> each suitcase.• If you have a large class, have more than two teams.• If you don’t have an equal number of players per team,have someone go twice or have a leader jo<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>.• As with any relay race, adjust the distance between thestart and f<strong>in</strong>ish l<strong>in</strong>es to suit your situation. If us<strong>in</strong>g withyounger children, you may particularly want shorter distancesbetween the start and f<strong>in</strong>ish l<strong>in</strong>es.• For a variation, divide the players <strong>in</strong>to equal teams andhave each team pick one player to be their “model.” Giveeach team a load of disguises and 1–2 m<strong>in</strong>utes to dresstheir model <strong>in</strong> the best disguise they can create.
