Washington County Prosecutor’s Office (Unpaid)Interns working with the Washington County Prosecutor’s <strong>of</strong>fice typically spend aconsiderable amount <strong>of</strong> their internship working with the restitution <strong>of</strong>fice. Rape Crisis Center (Unpaid).There are several positions available this spring. Interns with the RCC go throughextensive training to learn how to work with victims <strong>of</strong> sexual violence. The <strong>of</strong>ficestaff at the RCC are extremely supportive and I only hear good things from myinterns who work there. 9. Terrorism Research Center in Fulbright College (Unpaid)The TRC is looking for up to 6 analysts to work on various projects through the fallsemester. Work will include collecting and coding federal court cases involvingterrorism trials. Interns will be trained how to code data, how to clean data, andhow to operate several s<strong>of</strong>tware programs, including Oracle. Walmart Global SecurityWalmart will be taking interns in the <strong>Spring</strong>, but I currently do not have anyadditional information, other than they will probably not be paid internships. I willpost an update as soon as I have more information.11. Washington County Sheriff’s Office.The Washington County Sheriff’s <strong>of</strong>fice generally takes up to 4 interns a semester.Interns are given the opportunity to work with <strong>of</strong>ficer in the control room <strong>of</strong> the Jailand in Dispatch.
