Harold Matthews ReportThe <strong>Penrith</strong> <strong>Panthers</strong> Harold Matthews representative team went through theregular 2008 season undefeated, scoring 446 points for and 76 against in tenstraight victories.In their quarter-final match the young <strong>Panthers</strong> defeated a strong Illawarra side50-4, before taking out Canterbury 48-12 in the semi-final.Unfortunately the side suffered their only loss for the season in the one thatmattered most, going down 30-17 to Parramatta in the Grand Final.Vaipuna Tia Kilifi was the 2008 Harold Matthews Player of the Year and also toptryscorer with 19 tries.
