.............State-of-the-art surfaces................................We all know that granite and other natural stone is tough and good looking. Butis it flexible, easy to handle and will it survive the bowling ball drop test? Well noit won’t. Is it sufficiently slim and lightweight to fit neatly over other materialswithout reinforcement? Not without slicing it thin and sacrificing technicalperformance. That is why, instead, we blend genuine Italian granite withstate-of-the-art polymer resin for added strength and flexibility, then mould itinto large agglomerate slabs only ¼” (6.7mm) thick, with all the aesthetics ofstone and the performance of a composite. We do the same with naturalquartzite to create finer-grained materials and a lighter colour spectrum. Wewere also the first to combine recycled glass, usually from recovered beer,wine and mineral water bottles, with polymer technology, achieving tough,sparkling eco-chic surfaces.
