When mounted in the lower position, the bed accepts a conventional box springand mattress; when mounted in the upper position, the bed accepts a mattress and accommodatesthe under-bed storage components shown above: trundle box (BEDC-TR/UBX) and mattress (BEDC-TR/MAT) (Shown above), trundle box for standard single mattress (BEDC-TR/STR) two-drawer storageunit (BEDC-ST/DR2), or up to three rolling storage boxes (BEDC-ST/CU23) (all sold separately). Twinand double beds include an eleven-piece slat roll for mattress support. The queen and king bedsinclude a metal mattress support system with extra support legs and will NOT accommodate theunder-bed storage options. Drawer boxes are fully finished and clear coated eliminating possible tears and snags on clothing.Unless otherwise noted, pieces are shown finished in premium Antique Black (black topcoat sanded through to a cinnabar undercoat) with pewter cup handles and nickel knobs.
