Registration at Arrival<br />
At their arrival to <strong>Antholz</strong> and before moving into their accommodation<br />
the team captains must register at the Accreditation Offi ce and at the<br />
Race Offi ce.<br />

The OC offi ce is at your disposal for information regarding accreditation<br />
at any time. The Accreditation Offi ce will be located in <strong>Antholz</strong>-<br />
Mittertal (see map of the valley). The distribution of Carpasses takes<br />
place in the Accreditation Offi ce starting Sunday, 13th January!<br />

Liability / Insurance<br />
According to the IBU rule 1.5.1.2 all participants must be in possession<br />
of a suffi cient accident, and health insurance. With the Entry by<br />
Name each national federation confi rms to be in possession of the<br />
necessary insurances for damage to persons and properties for all<br />
registered persons. The organiser assumes no liability for damage to<br />
persons and properties.<br />

All athletes must fi ll in the provided forms (UITS declaration) and send<br />
them back to us. The completed forms will be stamped by the Italian<br />
Carabinieri and handed back to you by our staff during the E.ON IBU<br />
World Cup <strong>Biathlon</strong> 2013 in Ruhpolding.<br />
A special revenue stamp must be put on the weapon import forms.<br />
Import of sports weapons from other EU member states:<br />
For athletes and offi cials of IBU Member Federations within the<br />
European Union who carry a weapon with them, it is suffi cient to own<br />
a European fi re-arm certifi cate and a proof of participation (offi cial<br />
<strong>invitation</strong>).<br />
Medicine<br />
When entering Italy the teams are required to prove convincingly any<br />
needs for medicine that is imported into the country. Please check<br />
the customs regulations with the responsible Italian agencies in your<br />
country in time.<br />

VISA-Regulations and<br />
Applications<br />
Visas are issued to all athletes and team staff (coaches, staff). The application<br />
for the visa must include an accurate list of names, dates of birth,<br />
and the reason of travelling (athlete, coach etc.) and must be sent by the<br />
national federation to the Organising Committee in <strong>Antholz</strong>, which sends<br />
an application to the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI). The CONI then<br />
sends an <strong>invitation</strong> to the Italian Embassy of the applying country.<br />
We remind you that the application for visas must be forwarded no later<br />
than 30 days before departure from your home country.<br />
Please note that the <strong>invitation</strong> must be requested with the OC <strong>Antholz</strong>.<br />
Regarding any details, please contact the OC <strong>Antholz</strong>.<br />
All national teams are asked to submit the offi cial <strong>invitation</strong> and the<br />
confi rmation of participation to the E.ON IBU World Cup <strong>Biathlon</strong> 2013 in<br />
<strong>Antholz</strong> to the Italian Embassy or Italian Consulate in order to receive the<br />
immigration visa with the possibility of re-entering the country.<br />
People who travel with the team but are not members of the team must<br />
apply for a tourist visa. The OC <strong>Antholz</strong> cannot apply for such visas to the<br />
Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).<br />
In order to avoid diffi culties at the borders please obtain the visas for Italy<br />
and the transit visas for all other countries bordering with Italy before<br />
leaving your own country.<br />
The following IBU Member Federations require a visa to enter<br />
Italy:<br />
ALG, ARM, BLR, BIH, CHN, GEO, GUM, IND, IRI, KAZ, KGZ, LIB,<br />
MAR, MKD, MDA, MGL, PUR, RUS, SCG, UKR, UZB.<br />

WLAN<br />
On the occasion of the E.ON IBU World Cup <strong>Biathlon</strong> 2013 at the<br />
<strong>Antholz</strong> biathlon centre a W-LAN net will be at your disposal. Thus<br />
all members of teams can access the net with notebooks fi tted with<br />
W-LAN. On request, at the Race Offi ce all team members receive the<br />
necessary Access Card with Access Code for free.<br />
Team catering<br />
Again the <strong>Antholz</strong> OC offers a catering for all team members in the<br />
Team--Catering (IBU Family Club) on the ground fl oor of the hospitality tent.<br />
Access is granted with the team accreditation. The team catering is open every<br />
day from 9am to 5pm starting Tuesday 15th January 2013.<br />

The OC offers a free pick-up service to all teams from and to the<br />
airport of Innsbruck (Austria) and the airport of Verona (Italy). This<br />
service is free of charge only if the entire team makes use of it at<br />
once. Single members requesting transportation will be charged for<br />
the service. A pick-up service from and to the airports of Milan and<br />
Munich can be organised and will be charged for accordingly.<br />

Transport Hotel in <strong>Antholz</strong><br />
There will also be no charge for transport from the hotel to the <strong>Biathlon</strong><br />
stadium for all those teams who do not have an own vehicle.<br />
Accommodation<br />
All accommodation is arranged by the OC:<br />
All teams must pay for all of their accommodation (free spots included)<br />
directly at the hotel. Credit cards are accepted.<br />
The accommodation must be booked together with the IBU-Online-<br />
Registration by Number (within 17.12.2012).<br />
The booking of accommodation is binding after sending the online<br />
reservation form – IBU-Online-<strong>EN</strong>TRIES BY NUMBER/LODGING AND<br />
TRANSPORTATION - RESERVATION. On receipt of the reservation, the<br />
federation is sent a booking confi rmation by the OC which has to be<br />
reconfi rmed within two days. In case of a later non-occupation of the<br />
booked accommodation without cancelling it by no later than 2nd<br />
January 2013, the registering federation will be charged with the<br />
costs incurred.<br />
For earlier departs, belated arrivals, autonomously accorded switches,<br />
changes of reservations, cancellations, notice must be given within<br />
2nd January 2013. All additional costs arising from any change after<br />
this date must be paid by the registering federation. These variations<br />
of the bookings cannot be regarded by the OC.<br />
Coaches and technicians who have lunch at the stadium may book<br />
the accommodation with half board. Such arrangements must be<br />
made directly with the hotels.<br />

Please note these are only price indications and can vary according to<br />
the room category or the requests concerning the catering. The conditions<br />
and possibilities of catering are different as well. For this reason<br />
we kindly request all teams to make their booking directly with the<br />
hotel, and clarify the prices, the requests concerning the catering and<br />
the conditions for cancellations, in order to avoid misunderstandings<br />
at the moment of the settlement of the bill.<br />
Accommodation costs for top 25<br />
According to the IBU Competition Rule 15.1.3 the OC <strong>Antholz</strong> takes on<br />
board and lodging expenses for the 25 best male and 25 best female<br />
athletes (max. 7 days). The selection is made according to the top<br />
rankings of the World Cup Total Scores at the end of December 2012.<br />
The OC <strong>Antholz</strong> pays 70,00 € per night, which corresponds to the<br />
price of a hotel of category B. If a team wants to stay in a hotel of<br />
category A, the price difference has to be paid by the team itself.<br />
The reimbursement of the free accommodation costs/full board<br />
will be paid at the Competition Offi ce only if the total amount of<br />
the team is not higher than 1.000 €.<br />
Teams reimbursements higher than 1.000 € must be paid by banc<br />
transfer to the national Federation. The teamleader is asked to<br />
transmit the banc dates (IBAN, Swift) to the OC.<br />

According to the IBU Rules the prize money is paid to the placements<br />
1-10 and 1-6 (relays) directly by the OC. The payout is made by bank<br />
transfer. For this reason the concerned athletes must indicate their<br />
bank details (name, full address, IBAN code, SWIFT code) to the<br />
Race Offi ce. The bank transfer is completed after receipt of the bank<br />
details.<br />
