NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGTENNIS SENIORS AUSTRALIA INCORPORATED<strong>Notice</strong> is given that the 44 th Annual General Meeting <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tennis</strong> <strong>Seniors</strong> <strong>Australia</strong> Inc. will beheld at the Northbridge Hotel, 2<strong>10</strong> Lake St, Northbridge (North Perth) at 8.00 pm onWednesday, 9 th January, 2013. Divisions are invited to attend with their Delegates. Thenumber <strong>of</strong> Delegates permitted, will vary for each Division, in line with their entitlements.Observers are welcome and can speak but are not entitled to vote.In accord with section 13 <strong>of</strong> the constitution,Rule 13 (1) A <strong>Notice</strong> <strong>of</strong> Motion to alter these rules must be submitted in writingand be received by the Secretary not less than three (3) months before theGeneral Meeting at which it is to be considered. (That is, before October 9 th , <strong>2012</strong>.<strong>Notice</strong> <strong>of</strong> this requirement was previously forwarded on 29 August <strong>2012</strong>)Any matter for discussion to be place on the Agenda must comply with the following:Rule 13 (3) Any other <strong>Notice</strong> <strong>of</strong> Motion must be submitted in writing and bereceived by the Secretary not less than two (2) months before the Meeting atwhich it is to be considered. (That is, before November 9 th , <strong>2012</strong>)The current National Executive will automatically retire at this meeting. Invitations areextended for members to nominate for five (5) positions as Officers <strong>of</strong> the Association, that <strong>of</strong>President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member.We seek nominations from genuinely interested members who are prepared to take on any <strong>of</strong>these challenging roles. As well as coming forward with a background <strong>of</strong> significantadministrative experience, particularly in tennis administration, we need people with diverseexperience in other areas, such as marketing and finance. Another basic need is for applicants tobe computer and <strong>of</strong>fice systems literate, as the use <strong>of</strong> electronic Communication is an essentialskill required in our management team in 2013.A Nomination Form is attached as a separate document for distribution.
