DIY Fundraising EventsAbout the IRC in <strong>Phoenix</strong>Our MissionThe <strong>International</strong> <strong>Rescue</strong> Comm<strong>it</strong>tee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst human<strong>it</strong>arian crises and helpspeople to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRCoffers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war, persecution ornatural disaster. The IRC leads the way from harm to home.About the IRC in <strong>Phoenix</strong>Since opening in 1994, the <strong>International</strong> <strong>Rescue</strong> Comm<strong>it</strong>tee in <strong>Phoenix</strong> has helped resettle over 12,000refugees. The IRC in <strong>Phoenix</strong> is the largest resettlement program in the state of Arizona and offers aholistic approach to resettlement through the provision of diverse programming.
