Always wear full fire prevention gear. Collect extinguishing water to prevent it from draining into the sewer system. Dispose ofcontaminated water used for extinction and the remains of the fire according to applicable regulations.SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE-FIGHTERSHardhat with visor, fireproof clothing (fireproof jacket and trousers with straps around arms, legs and waist), work gloves (fireproof, cut proof and antistatic), a depressurized mask with facemask covering the whole of the operator`s face or a self-respirator (selfprotector)in the event of large quantities of fume.Section 6: Accidental Release MeasuresPersonal precautions, protective equipment and emergency proceduresUse breathing equipment if fumes or powders are released into the air. These indications apply for both processing staff and thoseinvolved in emergency procedures.Environmental precautionsThe product must not penetrate the sewers, surface water, ground water and neighbouring areas. Methods and material for containment and cleaning upConfine using earth or inert material. Collect as much material as possible and eliminate the rest using jets of water. Contaminatedmaterial should be disposed of in compliance with the provisions set forth in point 13.Reference to other sectionsAny information on personal protection and disposal is given in sections 8 and 13Section 7: Handling and StoragePrecautions for safe handlingBefore handling the product, consult all the other sections of this safety data sheet. The engineering controls also need to keep gas, vapor or dustconcentrations below any lower explosive limits.Hygiene measures: Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location. Wash hands, forearms andface thoroughly after handling chemical products, before eating, smoking and using the lavatory and at the end of the working period.Personal protectionHand protectionProtect hands with work gloves, such as those in latex, PVC or equivalent. The following should be considered when choosing workglove material: degradation, breakage times and permeation. Work glove resistance to preparations should be checked before use, as itcan be unpredictable. Gloves` limit depends on the duration of exposure.Skin protectionWear category professional long-sleeved overalls and safety footwear. Wash body with soap and water after removing overalls.Respiratory protectionIf the threshold value (if available) for one or more of the substances present in the preparation for daily exposure in the workplace orto a fraction established by the company`s prevention and protection service is exceeded, wear a mask with an B or universal filter, theclass (1, 2 or 3) of which must be chosen according to the limit concentration of use.The use of respiratory tract protection equipment, such as masks like that indicated above, is necessary to reduce worker exposure inthe absence of technical measures. The protection provided by masks is in any case limited. If the substance in question is odourless or its olfactory threshold is higher than the relative exposure limit and in the event of anemergency, or when exposure levels are unknown or the concentration of oxygen in the workplace is less than 17% volume, wear selfcontained,open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus or fresh air hose breathing apparatus for use with full face mask, half mask

In the most serious cases, inhalation of this product may cause larynx and bronchial tube edema and irritation, chemical pneumonia and pulmonary edema.Acute effects: vapour inhalation may irritate the lower and upper respiratory tract and cause cough and respiratory disorders. At higherconcentrations it can also cause pulmonary edema. Ingestion may cause health problems, including stomach pain and sting, nausea andsickness.Upon contact with skin, this product causes sensitization (dermatitis). Dermatitis derives from skin irritation on the areas whichrepeatedly come into contact with the sensitizing agent. Cutaneous lesions may include: erythemas, edemas, papules, vesicles, pustules, scurvies, ulcerations and exudative phenomena, whose intensity varies according to illness seriousness and affected areas. Erythemas, edemas and exudative phenomena prevail during the acute phase. Scurfy skin, dryness, ulcerations and skin thickening prevail duringthe chronic phase.Primary irritations of the skin / mucous membranes (rabbit) slightly irritating. Particular characteristics / effects: in the case of overexposureespecially when performing work without protective gear spray-there is a risk, depending on the concentration, irritation ofthe eyes, nose, throat and respiratory tract. Possible the delayed appearance of disorders and development of a form of hypersensitivity(respiratory disorders, cough, asthma).ComponentsALIPHATIC POLYISOCYANATEAcute toxicityLD50 (Oral) > 2500 mg/kg (rat) (OECD 423 (female)LD50 (Oral) > 2000 mg/kgLC50 (Inhalation) > 0.39 mg/l/4h Method OECD TG 403HEXAMETHYLENE-DI-ISOCYANATELC50 (Inhalation) > 0,124 mg/l/4h RatSection 12: Ecological InformationThis product is dangerous for the environment and the aquatic organisms.
