A description of your research plan. Make clear the critical problem youwant to explore, why it is important, and how you plan to go aboutresearching it. Describe the critical perspective you plan to use (which mustin some way connect to New Historicism), and explain how you will use thisperspective to explore your topic. Also, explain how the topic connects tothe course topic of 'chivalry.'3. Do some preliminary research to ensure that the topic is viable. Make aworking bibliography for this research. You should find at least eightpotential secondary sources.Proposals will be presented to the class on March 20th. If you are not present onthis day, I will deduct points from your proposals (unless, of course, you have adocumented excuse, and even in that case, you should email a copy of the proposalto me).
