PAGE 11SYSTEM PROGRAMMING DIAGNOSTICS- Menu 1AL.2INSTALL MANUALALARM STATUS / DIAGNOSTICSIf the alarm system is triggered, the system will retain in memory the cause of thetrigger. When disarming the alarm, the siren/horn will chirp 3 times to indicate thealarm had been triggered. The system’s LED will also flash in pulses to indicatewhich input triggered the alarm.*LED status will be cleared when the ignition is turned ON. For proper memoryclearing, insure to connect the alarm ignition input to the ignition on the vehicle.SIREN CHIRPS LED FLASHES DIAGNOSTICS / STATUS3 2 SHOCK SENSOR TRIGGER3 3 DOOR / HOOD TRIGGER3 4 IGNITION TRIGGER0 OFF SYSTEM DISARMED0 ON SOLID SYSTEM IN VALET / SERVICE MODE0 SINGLE FLASHES SYSTEM ARMED0 RAPID FLASHES PASSIVE ARM COUNTDOWNALARM STATUS / DIAGNOSTICSIf an output from the alarm is shorted the siren will chirp 4 times and the park lightswill flash 4 times when the system is armed or disarmed. The LED will flash adiagnostic code that represents the circuit that is at fault. (See Chart Below).
