There wefe no signifiC:lIlt changes in the nature of those activities.REVIEW OF OPERATIONS:The Company was incorporated on 26 August 1987 and this report covers the period from 1 November 1991 to 31October 1992. The Company recorded a net surplus for the period of $110,095. The company is exempt from IncomeTax.The cost of prOViding the necessary facilities and ground improvements again strained the expenditure budgetconsiderably and the expense and associated costs of developir,g and maintaining the ground during the year, totalled$555,770.SIGNIFICANT EVENTS AFTER THE BALANCE DATE:No matters have arisen since the end of the financial year that may have affected or may significantly affect:(a) the operations of the company,(b)(c)the results of those operations; orthe state of affairs of the company in subsequent financial years.DIRECrORS' INTERESTS:The follOWing interests of Directors in contracts with the Company :lre nOled:-Messrs. K. Smith, D. Drown, D. Turrell and A. \'V'illiams are Directors of the Newcastle Rugby League Limited to which theCompany provides administrative services and subsidises the cost of those services.Mr. K. M. Hill is a partner in the firm ofTurnbull Hill Partners which firm provided legal services to the Company.DIRECTORS' BENEFITS:No Director has received or become entitled to receive a benefit by reason of a contract made hy the Company with aDirector or with a firm of which he is a member or with a company in which he has a substantial financial interest otherthan those listed under Directors Imerests.Signed on behalf of the Iloard of Directors in accordance with the resolution of the Directors.K.
