The session introduces several new building blocks and additives<br />
for urethanes, with particular emphasis on bio-based materials.<br />
New routes to polyols, cross linkers, surfactants, and chain<br />
extenders are described, in addition to novel polyurethane-amides<br />
produced without isocyanate. These materials find use in a broad<br />
range of urethane applications, including CASE, and rigid and<br />
flexible foam.<br />
