The session introduces several new building blocks and additives
for urethanes, with particular emphasis on bio-based materials.
New routes to polyols, cross linkers, surfactants, and chain
extenders are described, in addition to novel polyurethane-amides
produced without isocyanate. These materials find use in a broad
range of urethane applications, including CASE, and rigid and
flexible foam.
