Expands Educational Opportunities
this summer work will begin on transforming office space at the high school into a theater classroom with lighting,
sound and other enhancements that will be an ideal classroom for theater students. The theater room will also
provide a performance quality area for play casts to rehearse and orchestra members to practice, freeing up the
main Fine Arts Center stage for additional performances and activities the community can enjoy.

being introduced into the
curriculum at Oxford High
School has hit the streets, and we
are already enrolling new students.
Thanks to additional space available
in the new theater classroom,
students can elect to take classical
dance courses, such as ballet and
tap, beginning in the fall of 2013.
new and Expanded facilities
Equal emphasis in each of the three A’s (academics, arts,
athletics) is an important aspect of our mission, so
the work in these categories aligns well with our core
beliefs. The 2009 bond projects are a true reflection of what is
most important to the Oxford community—safety and security,
increased capacity, modern technologies that incorporate
global education concepts, and good stewardship of community
resources.
