The Second ComingThey heed this prophesy and flee to the mountainouswilderness in Southern Jordan (Edom) to a city calledBozrah.Bozrah is an Old Testament city in Edom whose nametranslates as sheep pen. The city that closelyresembles a sheep pen in Southern Jordan is theancient Roman city called Petra. A rock fortress thatis highly defendable with the surrounding mountains.The remnant of Israel flees Jerusalem as foretold inIsaiah.

Isaiah 33:16-17"He will dwell on high; His place of defense willbe the fortress of rocks; Bread will be givenhim, His water will be sure. Your eyes will see theKing in His beauty; They will see the land that isvery far off."

Micah 2:12-13 Bozrah – Sheep Pen"I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I willsurely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put themtogether (in Bozrah) like sheep of the fold, Likea flock in the midst of their pasture; They shallmake a loud noise because of so many people.The one who breaks open will come up beforethem; They will break out, Pass through the gate,And go out by it; Their king will pass before them,With the LORD at their head."

Isaiah 631Who is this who comes from Edom,With dyed garments from Bozrah,This One who is glorious in His apparel,Traveling in the greatness of Hisstrength?--"I who speak in righteousness,mighty to save."2Why is Your apparel red,And Your garments like one who treads inthe winepress?

Isaiah 633"I have trodden the winepress alone,And from the peoples no one was with Me.For I have trodden them in My anger,And trampled them in My fury;Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,And I have stained all My robes.4For the day of vengeance is in My heart,And the year of My redeemed has come.

Revelation 19:11-13Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a whitehorse. And He who sat on him was called Faithfuland True, and in righteousness He judges andmakes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, andon His head were many crowns. He had a namewritten that no one knew except Himself.He was clothed with a robe dipped inblood, and His name is called TheWord of God.

1. At the close of the tribulation all Gentilenations gather in the Valley of Jezreelnear the Mountain of Meggido.2. The Jewish remnant will flee Jerusalemand run south because the armies ofthe Anti-Messiah are in the north inMeggido.3. They will flee the land of Israel andsomehow end up in Southern Jordan(Edom) in the city of Petra or ancientBozrah.4. Out of desperation the Jewish remnantwill call upon the Messiah while in Petraor Bozrah. They will say; "Blessed is Hewho comes in the name of the LORD." Allof Israel will be Saved (Romans 11).5. The Messiah will return with the greatsacrifice of the Gentile armiesin Bozrah. Bozrah will be made intoa total burning wasteland through out themillennial kingdom.

6. The Sword of the Lord will smite theGentile Armies until there is blood upto the horses neck for 200 miles backto Jerusalem.7. The movement will be northward toJerusalem where He will make thevictory assent to the Mount of Olives.8. There will be a gathering of allsurviving Gentiles where the Messiahwill divide them according to theirhelping Jesus' brethren the Jews. Thepro-Semitic sheep gentiles will beallowed into the Kingdom and theanti-Semitic goat gentiles go intoeverlasting punishment.9. The Davidic throne will be establishedin Jerusalem and the earth will berenovated for the Messianic Kingdomthat will last one thousand years.

The allure of the Nabatean city of Petra inJordan tempted young Israelis to sneak acrossthe border for a visit in the 1950s and 1960s,some loosing with their lives for the attempt.Several were killed by Bedouin Nomads orJordanian Military.There was no peace with Jordan at the time.The Hebrew song Ha-Selah Ha-Adom, the RedRock, referring to mysterious Petra, was evenbanned from the radio except one time a yearfor fear that it would incite young men to makethe hazardous journey.

The Song Selah Ha’Adom THE RED ROCKAcross mountains and the desert the stories say,there's a place that a living person has not yetreturned from,and it's called the red rock.Oh, the red - red - rock.Three went on the way with thesunset, against the the mountains' redscorching, an old dream, a map and a waterbottlethey did take to the red rock.Oh, the red - red - rock.The first went (as) navigator, lifting his face,lookin at the stars up high, but the view that his eyessaw - was the view of the red rockOh, the red - red - rock.

Selah Ha’Adom THE RED ROCKSurely, they encamped some time between stones,one said, like smiting a dream:I see - its face is white.His mates answered: the red rock.Oh, the red - red - rock.The sun - revolving, beating their headsand they breathed the hot, desert dustand suddenly - as though by freezingit silenced them - they did see the red rock.Oh, the red - red - rock.The shooting salvo was short.One groaned, I'm wounded and he went silent.

Jeremiah 49:22Behold, He shall come up and fly like theeagle, And spread His wings overBozrah; The heart of the mighty men ofEdom in that day shall be Like the heartof a woman in birth pangs.

These passages collectively show that something takes place at the SecondComing of the Messiah. The initial return will not be in Armageddon, or onthe Mount of Olives. A summary sequence of the events are as follows:1. At the close of the tribulation all Gentile nations gather in the Valley ofJezreel near the Mountain of Meggido.2. The Day of the LordZechariah143Then the Lord will go forthAnd fight against those nations,As He fights in the day of battle.4And in that day His feet will stand on theMount of Olives,Which faces Jerusalem on the east.And the Mount of Olives shall be split intwo,From east to west,Making a very large valley;Half of the mountain shall move towardthe northAnd half of it toward the south.

Isaiah 4:2 -- The Renewal of ZionIn that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful andglorious;And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent andappealingFor those of Israel who have escaped.3And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains inJerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded amongthe living in Jerusalem. 4 When the Lord has washed away thefilth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalemfrom her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit ofburning, 5 then the Lord will create above every dwelling place ofMount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by dayand the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glorythere will be a covering. 6 And there will be a tabernacle for shadein the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for ashelter from storm and rain.

Isaiah 2 The Future House of God on Mt. Zion in IsraelThe word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah andJerusalem.2Now it shall come to pass in the latter daysThat the mountain of the Lord’s houseShall be established on the top of the mountains,And shall be exalted above the hills;And all nations shall flow to it.3Many people shall come and say,“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,To the house of the God of Jacob;He will teach us His ways,And we shall walk in His paths.”For out of Zion shall go forth the law,And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.4He shall judge between the nations,And rebuke many people;They shall beat their swords into plowshares,And their spears into pruning hooks;Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,Neither shall they learn war anymore.

• The movement will be northward to Jerusalem where He will make thevictory assent to the Mount of Olives.• There will be a gathering of all surviving Gentiles where the Messiah willdivide them according to their helping Jesus' brethren the Jews. The pro-Semitic sheep gentiles will be allowed into the Kingdom and the anti-Semitic goat gentiles go into everlasting punishment.• The Davidic throne will be established in Jerusalem and the earth will berenovated for the Messianic Kingdom that will last one thousand years.

The Lord will establish a house in Zion: Micah 4:1-5And it will come about in the last days That the mountain of thehouse of the Lord Will be established as the chief of themountains. It will be raised above the hills, And the peopleswill stream to it. And many nations will come and say, "Comeand let us go up to the mountain of the Lord And to the houseof the God of Jacob, That He may teach us about His waysAnd that we may walk in His paths." For from Zion will goforth the law, Even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem(not heaven). And He will judge between many peoples Andrender decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they willhammer their swords into plowshares And their spears intopruning hooks; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Andnever again will they train for war.

Bozrah and Babylon will be perpetual Wastelands13And thorns shall come up in its palaces,Nettles and brambles in its fortresses;It shall be a habitation of jackals,A courtyard for ostriches.14The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the jackals,And the wild goat shall bleat to its companion;Also the night creature shall rest there,And find for herself a place of rest.15There the arrow snake shall make her nest and lay eggsAnd hatch, and gather them under her shadow;There also shall the hawks be gathered,Every one with her mate.
