MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo manage and develop an important, stimulating and creative learningenvironment used by the whole school community.To provide a stimulating and welcoming independent learning and readingenvironment for staff and students.To provide an environment suitable for group and independent research.To help develop independent learners and readers for life.To make reading relevant and enjoyable for students and staff.To motivate both the convinced and the unconvinced to read.To encourage readers to be creative and innovative.To help develop students’ information literacy.To run induction sessions concentrated on improving and widening students’research skills, including a focus on the resources available on Moodle VLE.
