During SY2009–10, 33percent of Neval Thomas Elementary students, 42 percent of Kenilworth Elementary students, and 52percent of Chavez Schools–Parkside students tested proficient or advanced in the math <strong>DC</strong>CAS test. Theshares of Kenilworth Elementary and Chavez Schools–Parkside students were similar to the citywide<strong>DC</strong>PS and public charter school averages, whereas the share of Neval Thomas Elementary students waslower than the citywide <strong>DC</strong>PS average. In SY2009–10, 41 percent of all <strong>DC</strong>PS students tested proficientor advanced in math, and 50 percent of all public charter students tested similarly.33
