I grew up in Moscow, Idaho and graduatedin 1972 from Moscow HighSchool. I then moved to Pocatello toattend ISU. I got married in 1974 andmoved to Blackfoot , Idaho. I becamesingle in 1983 and met my currenthusband in November 1992. I movedback to Pocatello in June 1993. Ifinished my degree with a Bachelorof Business with emphasis in ComputerInformation in May 1994. Kevin and Ihave been married for 16 yrs. In ourblended family we have 5 childrenand 10 grandchildren. I attended a recruitmentmeeting and heard the Civitan Creed. I knew thiswas an organization I wanted to a part of. Civitanis my passion.On a club level I have served as President-Elect,President, Secretary and am currently on theBoard of Directors . For the last 9 years I havebeen involved in Revive @5 -Fund Raiser, CampTaylor Campout for people with disabilities, andCivitan Youth Seminar ( 5 day leadership conferencefor High School Students). I have helpedwith every Service Project and fund raiser as Ihave a hard time picking just one activity to beinvolved with. I like them all.I was the last Governor of the Intermountain Districtand helped with the merging of Intermountainand Arizona-Nevada to the now , Heart ofthe West District. I have served in many leadershippositions in the district, including ImmediatePast Governor (twice), Secretary (twice) , PastGovernor Director, Distinguished Governor, andcurrently Secretary of the Heart of the West District.I have built 2 Civitan clubs: Twin Falls and FriendsCivitan. I am always looking for opportunities tobuild more clubs and raise Civitan Awareness.Being a Civitan Member has let me be of serviceto my community, club, and District . In my serviceI’ve met new people and gained knowledgeall over the world. As our creed states “I am Civitan”.I’m a Builder of good citizenship and I practicethe Golden Rule.
