In 1996 heintroduced <strong>Angus</strong> cattle to <strong>Resurgam</strong>, the familyfarm.The first six heifers were purchased at a bull sale from the Maunu andTaurikura herds. Other cows from different herds (Parakowhai, Waihihi,Taurikura, Ruru) were added in the following years and together they formedthe basis of the <strong>Resurgam</strong> <strong>Angus</strong> herd.While establishing the <strong>Resurgam</strong> <strong>Angus</strong> herd we discovered the uniquequality of Pure New Zealand <strong>Angus</strong> cattle.
