The Fortuna sideboard has a weight-bearingstructural frame and legs in solid Europeanoak. Rag-applied finishes, achieved through ahandmade process, are available in grey Europeanoak veneer lacquered internally in opaque greyor smoked oak lacquered internally in coffee.Damping systems for drawers and tempered glasstop with scratch-resistant acid etched effect, withextra-light back-etching for the milk white finish, orfloating glass for the coffee finish.Claudio Bellini is an Italian-born architect anddesigner based in Milan. His work ranges fromarchitecture and urban planning to product andfurniture design for leading Italian and internationalcompanies. In 2006, he founded Claudio BelliniDesign+Design, where he mostly conductstechnological research and studies potential uses fornew materials. <strong>Natuzzi</strong> Open Art<strong>Natuzzi</strong> Open Art is a project thatinvolves working with artists ofdifferent backgrounds and experience(such as Giacomo Benevelli, the artistwho created the vase in the picture),in line with the style of the company,to create works of art for the <strong>Natuzzi</strong>collections. Giacomo Benevelli(Reggio Emilia 1925 - Pavia 2011),began his initial studies in France.He graduated from the Academy ofFine Arts of Brera in Milan, where hetaught in the Art School. He was anactive participant in the cultural andartistic dialogue of Milanese sculpturefrom the Fifties. His work has beenshown in countless personal andcollective exhibitions in major galleriesand the most important national andinternational museums.61
