All condensers are manufactured with enhanced3/4” diameter tubing to provide heavy wall construction and ease of service from commonlyavailable tube cleaning devices.Multi-Circuit FlexibilitySpecial condensers are available with dual circuits by welding two shells togetherend-to-end. This allows the use of one water circuit to reduce piping costs. Eachcircuit has its own ASME code stamp.ModificationsDoucette refrigeration heat exchangers are available with special materials of constructionas required. Fresh water condensers can be made with stainless steel forincreased life with poor quality cooling water. Vessels can be equipped with Cupro-Nickel tubes and tube sheets or Titanium tubes for sea water duty. If your applicationcalls for something special, just ask.• Shells - Steel pipe to ASME specification.Shells are shot blasted and cleaned prior toassembly.• Tubes - 90/10 Cupro-Nickel high performanceenhanced design, roller expandedinto multiple-grooved tube sheet.Tube sheet- 90/10 Cupro-Nickel to ASME• specifications. Precision machined forexcellent sealing.Tube Supports - Quality steel made to• close tolerance to minimize vibrations.Heads - Cast bronze to withstand the corrosiveeffects of sea water duty. Single-pass•14” & 16” heads are fabricated from steeland epoxy coated.Connections - All water side connections• are FPT except 12” 1-pass, 14” and 16” modelswhich have flanges. Refrigerant connectionsare steel and bored to ODS of coppertubing. Relief, vent and drain connectionsare provided.Codes- The refrigerant side is constructed• to the latest edition of the ASME SectionVIII Div. 1 code and stamped. Refrigerantside dual rated for 450 PSI minimum at 150°F or 305 psi at 250°F. Water side designpressure is 150°F at 150 PSI. Both circuitsare tested at 1.25 times the design pressure.Finish - Exterior surfaces are cleaned and• painted with enamel primer.

Cast Iron Saddle BracketsCast iron mounting saddles or cradles are offered as an optional accessory. They are shipped loose. Saddles are boltedto floor or unit frame or base, and condenser simply rests in the saddles.
