36 Jesus, The Son Of ManThe Tree of Life and God’s Holy Spirit. He alwaysrefused The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil(human nature).Jesus was full of God’s grace (mercy). He was growinglike any human child and was only held responsiblefor what He knew (John 9:41). He was always ready toforgive others. He was full of God’s mercy.Christ called Himself The Son of Man over fifty timesin the scriptures. He wanted everyone to know thatthrough Mary, his earthly mother, He was made completelyhuman like everyone else. He, as The Son ofMan, could do nothing in the flesh. God did the work, which showed Jesus’ complete faith. “Verily, verily, Isay to you, The Son [a human] can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do [Holy Spirit]: forwhat things soever he does, these also do the Son likewise”(John 5:19). Jesus, as The Son of Man, could notdo anything of Himself. He was a total human beingguided by God’s Holy Spirit. As God’s Holy Spirit revealedthe truth, in faith, He would do the same workas His Father did. That is true faith. Jesus was TheMessiah because He witnessed faith and chose to dowhatever His Father told Him to do. You must exercisethe same faith. Jesus came to save (restore) whatwas lost – The Tree of Life (Matthew 18:11).
