2General Information & Sale NotesLocation: The Sale will be held at the Borderway Mart, Rosehill, Carlisle, Cumbria situatedclose to the M6 Junction 43. Motorists (from north or south) should leave the Motorway atthis Junction and turn west towards Carlisle on the A69. The Mart is within1/4 mile of theMotorway (filter left at the traffic lights) on the Rosehill Industrial Estate.Timetable of Events:Timetable of Events:Tuesday 8th OctoberArrival of Stock 5pm - 7pmWednesday 9th OctoberArrival of Stock 7am onwardsJudging 9.30amSale 11.30amMethod and Order of Sale: All animals will be sold in guineas (105 pence) and strictlyin catalogue order unless any alteration is authorised and announced by the Auctioneers.Conditions Of Sale: The Sale is held subject to the Auctioneers General Terms andConditions of Sale (printed in this catalogue) and to the Auction Rules and Conditionsof Sale from respective Breed Societies. The latter Conditions are not so printed but willbe displayed in the Sale Premises and available to those purchasers who require them, inbooklet form.Settlement And Clearance Of Stock: Settlement in full is due to the Auctioneersimmediately at the conclusion of the Sale. No animal may leave the Sale Premises withoutan official PASS, obtainable only from the Auctioneers upon settlement and all stockshould be cleared from the sale premises on the day of the sale.Pedigree Transfers: Cattle in the sale are registered with the respective breed societiesand will be officially transferred and pedigrees for all these animals will be effected by theAuctioneers and the Society as soon as possible after the sale - free of expense to thePurchasers.Commissions: The Auctioneers will faithfully execute commissions to purchase on behalfof buyers unable to attend the sale in person upon receipt of written notice and instructionsreceived in their office not later than 48 hours before commencement of sale.
