Important Notice to VendorsARRIVAL OF STOCK: As per timetable of events (page 6).PRE-SALE INSPECTION: All animals entered for the sale must be available for inspectionin the Sale Premises as per the timetable of events. An Official Inspector, appointed by theSale Society may order the rejection of any animal which, in his opinion, is below therequired standard of conformation and / or condition and does not represent a goodspecimen of the Breed.IF THE INSPECTORS CONSIDER THERE HAS BEEN ANY PRE-INSPECTION PREPERATIONDESIGNED TO DISGUISE AN UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION THAT ANIMAL WILL BEREJECTED.VETERINARY INSPECTION: The Veterinary Officer will examine all animals forward forgeneral, health and genetic defects, and any animal with a genetic fault, disease ordisorder will be REJECTED. Animals will be placed in a crush for this inspection - asrequired by the Veterinary Officer. The Veterinary Inspection will form an integral part ofthe pre-sale inspection procedure.ANY ANIMAL REJECTED DURING THE PRE-SALE INSPECTION WILL BE OFFERED INSALE ORDER, BUT ONLY AT THE AUCTIONEERS DISCRETION.CARDS WILL BE DISPLAYED ABOVE ALL REJECTED STOCK WITH REASON FORREJECTION.ALL BULLS - entered for the Sale MUST HAVE ACHIEVED A MINIMUM WEIGHT OF 500KGAT THE TIME OF SALE and Vendors will be responsible for the provision of certification ofsuch minimum weight to the Panel of Inspectors, if required. The Panel may order any bullto be weighed in the sale premises. Vendors are also reminded that “All bulls over the ageof 12 months shall be ringed”.All animals must be adequately trained to lead by halter, and all females must be equippedwith nose clips and additionally the inspectors have been instructed to reject any femaleshowing poor or doubtful temperament. Evidence of faults of temperament, vices, etc.,may lead to disqualification.The Showing of Bulls is Not Compulsory.IDENTIFICATION MARKS - The identification marks of all animals will be examined in theSale Premises and any animal found to have faulty or illegible marks will be rejected fromthe Sale. Vendors are therefore recommended to check carefully the identification marksof all their entries WELL IN ADVANCE of the Sale, and to advise the Society in the event ofany fault being found.THE ATTENTION OF VENDORS IS DRAWN TO THE SOCIETY’S RULE BY WHICH NOANIMAL ONCE CATALOGUED MAY BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE SALE WITHOUT GOODREASON, ACCEPTABLE TO THE COUNCIL. A SUMMARY FINE OF £50 WILL BE IMPOSEDBY THE COUNCIL OF THE SOCIETY UPON ANY EXHIBITOR WHO INFRINGES THIS RULE.The proceeds of sale are guaranteed by the Auctioneers, who will account to Vendors onthe day of the Sale. Such guarantee, however, does not extend to the animals sold forexport, to which special conditions apply.MINIMUM SELLING PRICE - There will be a Minimum Selling Price of 1,500 guineas oneach bull presented for sale - i.e. if no opening bid of 1,500gs is received for any particularlot, that lot will be passed out of the ring unsold.7
