Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and theearth, which are now, by the same word are kept instore, reserved to fire against the day of judgment andperdition of ungodly men” (II Peter 3:5-7).Prophecy is cyclical and repetitive depending upon thedifferent choices mankind makes. Also, when peoplerepent like Jonah and The Ninevites, God relents anddoes not carry out His wrath. God only punishes toawaken His children or to stop their unrighteous behavior.Prophecy is conditional. When Christians causeenough pain, horror and suffering for themselves, Godlooks into their hearts and sees their intentions. He alwaysreacts appropriately for their good. The ultimateanger from God is to wake them up and make themdesire to change and repent, “Now no chastening forthe present seems to be joyous, but grievous: neverthelessafterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousnessto them which are exercised thereby” (Hebrews12:11). Over and over again, it is all determined byan individual’s choice. Again, it is conditional. Godblesses mankind by meeting their needs. They corrupt
