6Reinv<strong>en</strong>ted: The torque multiplierThe torque multiplier is probably the simplest devicein high level torque bolting technology and has be<strong>en</strong>around for over forty years.LÖSOMAT has reinv<strong>en</strong>ted this prov<strong>en</strong> tool. With a cleverdesign and new functions, the new torque multiplier seriesis a great contribution to facilitating operations.Housing and gear unitThe housing and gear unit are the innovations in this series.A new production method was created, based onnature. The housing is therefore approx. 30% lighter butstill as rugged.At the same time, the ceramic-Teflon® coating <strong>en</strong>ablesminimum device lubrication. 9Special reaction arm versionsThe reaction arm of a high-torque wr<strong>en</strong>ch is one of themost important compon<strong>en</strong>ts on the device. It absorbsall reaction forces produced during bolting operations.It therefore has to be stable. In addition, reaction armsrequire a place in their surroundings where they cansupport themselves. They therefore not only need to bestable, but also suitable for a variety of <strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>ts.As bolts can be located anywhere, it is possible that thestandard reaction arm does not always fit and only acustom design can correctly absorb the reaction force.LÖSOMAT is specialised in this area.
