High Season starts <strong>in</strong> October and ends <strong>in</strong> May.The Peak Season is when t<strong>our</strong>ism is <strong>at</strong> its height.This <strong>in</strong>cludes Christmas, New Year, Ch<strong>in</strong>eseNew Year, and Holy Week (Easter Week). Someresorts have a +10% to +25% premiumon their rooms, and the island gets fullybooked. Make sure you book as far<strong>in</strong> advance as possible.Gett<strong>in</strong>g HereBy Air:C<strong>at</strong>iclan is a small airport 20 m<strong>in</strong>utes from<strong>Boracay</strong>. There are domestic flights fromManila, Cebu and Clark. A motorized trike willtake you to the Jetty Port, less than five m<strong>in</strong>utesaway. This is def<strong>in</strong>itely the preferred airport forease and convenience. Due to the small sizeof the runway, smaller turboprop airplanes are<strong>us</strong>ed. Seair has numero<strong>us</strong> daily flights andPAL Express resumed flights to C<strong>at</strong>iclan onDecember 1, 2009.Kalibo Airport is a larger airport 90 m<strong>in</strong>utesfrom <strong>Boracay</strong>. There are some <strong>in</strong>tern<strong>at</strong>ionalflights and it can accommod<strong>at</strong>e larger jetairplanes.
