Dr. McLeod alsoserved as president <strong>of</strong> the Exodus Transitional Community, Inc. Hewas an accomplished public speaker, a counselor to emotionallychallenged youth, and a social and criminal justice activist.Sylvia Moseley-Robinson, MDiv, was ordained at Omega BaptistChurch where she serves as associate minister and leader <strong>of</strong> the socialjustice ministry. Currently enrolled in the Payne Bakke Doctor<strong>of</strong> Ministry Transformational Leadership program, Rev. Moseley-Robinson is also director <strong>of</strong> the Montgomery County VolunteerJail Chaplaincy Ministry, board member <strong>of</strong> Oasis House Ministry(which assists women trapped in the sex industry), and employee <strong>of</strong>Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Ex-Offender Reentry Program.Keith Reeves, PhD, is associate pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> political science andpublic policy and faculty director <strong>of</strong> the Center for Social andPolicy Studies at Swarthmore College. A member <strong>of</strong> the Calvary BaptistChurch and a Weinberg Fellow, she is a global trainer and OffenderWorkforce Development Specialist (OWDS).Michael R. Smith Sr., MDiv, D.Min., was ordained in the AmericanBaptist Churches USA. He has served as prison chaplain instate and federal prisons for more than twenty years. Dr. Smith isfounder <strong>of</strong> Cross <strong>of</strong> Christ Ministries, which trains and educateschurches in responding to crime and incarceration and promotesbiblical discipleship.Karen K. Swanson, EdD, is director <strong>of</strong> the Institute for Prison Ministriesat the Billy Graham Center, Wheaton College, and assistantpr<strong>of</strong>essor in the Christian formation and ministries department. Dr.Swanson serves at Blanchard Alliance Church, Warrenville, Illinois,and is coauthor <strong>of</strong> Coming Home! A Guide for Those Receiving aLoved One Back from Prison or Jail.
