<strong>Dress</strong> <strong>Code</strong> <strong>Policy</strong> Guidelines: 2010/2011 <strong>School</strong> Year:Footwear:Acceptable Styles: <strong>Dress</strong>, casual, athletic shoes Sandals, open-toe shoes, flip flops (secondary only) Socks/nylons (optional for secondary, required for elementary)Unacceptable Styles: Slippers Sandals, open-toe shoes, flip flops (elementary) Work boot type shoe when worn with dress or skirtTops:Acceptable Styles: Shirts, blouses, jean shirts, long sleeve pullovers, t-shirts, logos if in good taste Sweaters, cardigans, sweatshirts, fleece sweaters or vests, blazers, sport coats Shirts must cover midriff (front and back) at all times, and are to be properlysized. Midriff (front and back) should not be exposed when sitting, bending, orstanding.Unacceptable Styles: Shirts with low necklines or low backs, or that show cleavage Halter tops, tube tops, bare midriffs Sleeveless shirts Shirts which promote non-school musicians or musical events are alsoinappropriate.
