The Audi S6 Saloon 04Assertiveness requires one thingabove all: drawing a clear line.Light, precise lines define an elegant vehicle body. The powerful tornado linebelow the windows accentuates the sporty characteristics. The Audi S6 seemsto surge forward. The Singleframe with horizontal double chrome struts inplatinum grey provides the suspense-filled prelude, which is then furtherenhanced by the muscular bumper.In the rear, too, sportiness is accentuated in every detail. The S logo is locatedboth on the back and the front of the vehicle. Wide sills and two chrome-platedtwin tailpipe trims border the vehicle body. The rear diffusor in platinum greyhas an extra sporty definition thanks to a striking transverse brace in metallook. This means thatneither is air taken in, fuel injected nor is exhaust gas emitted. The deactivation depends on severalfactors: the engine speed must be between 960 and 3,500 rpm, the vehicle must be travelling at aminimum speed of 25 km/h and on the 7-speed S tronic you must be driving in third gear or higher.Many hours of development time.Thousands of miles of testing.And for what reason?In just a few seconds you will understand why.TFSI ® technology, among others, is employed in theAudi S6 models. And the remarkable thing about it is:It combines the advantages of FSI with a supercharger,which ensures even better power delivery.The Audi S6 has a V8 4.0 TFSI ® engine that features thenew innovative Audi cylinder on demand. It ensuresthat during partial load operation, only four of eightcylinders are used - without you noticing thedifference. The engine always runs smoothly andpowerfully, but it uses less fuel and emits less CO₂.Thanks to its very spontaneous responsiveness andexceptional power delivery across the entire speedrange, the eight-cylinder engine promotes a sportysuperior driving style. Its 309 kW accelerate theS6 Saloon at a torque of 550 Nm from 0 to 100 km/hin 4.6 seconds. On request, the entire headlight can be made in the innovativeLED technology. LED light is almost as bright as natural daylight, thusproviding excellent visibility.

Interior equipment 10Powerful performancerequires control. And inner calm.It’s all at your command. With the leather-covered multifunction sportssteering wheel, you can control various comfort functions such as theradio and driver information system, telephone or navigation. Or you usethe intuitive controls of the MMI navigation plus: a touch-sensitivecontrol panel processes your commands at lightning speed. Switch onthe Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, for example, lean back andenjoy the distinctively sporty atmosphere.The sports seats in Alcantara/leather offer excellent support even witha challenging driving style. You have an electrical 12-way adjustmentfeature and a distinctive upper backrest with an embossed S6 logo.But you can also equip your S6 with S sports seats on request.These have more distinctively shaped side bolsters and mouldedhead restraints.
