eclectic selection of the editorial team’s favorites, some obvious and some rather obscure.
I have no doubt that some people will have their own views on other destinations that should have been included, but when you get down to it, in such a vast
expanse as the whole of Europe, from Istanbul to Iceland and from St Petersburg to Malta it is a real problem to select the best 100, nevertheless we would really
welcome your views on other places we’ve left out.
If you have come to this other than through our website, I should tell you that www.eurotravelmag.com is the website for EuroTravel Magazine, the world’s
leading flip-page magazine focusing exclusively on European destinations. creation in 2012 has received immense acclaim from readers, contributors, advertisers and the travel trade alike.
company AGL Publications is firmly rooted in digital publishing, but if the demand is there, anything is possible!
We hope this publication encourages and inspires you to explore Europe, from the tourist epicentres of London, Paris, Rome and Venice right through to the
remotest hill-villages where no-one speaks a word of English.
In the words of St Augustine: “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.” We give you our world - Europe.
Loch Ness
About a mile wide at most places it is the purported home of the Loch
Ness monster, a possibly mythical creature, which lives in the Loch and is
occasionally spotted by locals and passers-by. The sightings claimed lend
credence to the remote possibility of a group of survivors of the long-extinct
plesiosaurs (which lived up to around 65 million years ago).
end of the 18th century and then part of Italy from 1918 til 1947.
