WHARF WAREHOUSE - LATE NIGHTA masked DEATH EATER in black races through an old warehousewith HARRY POTTER, 23, and RON WEASLEY, 23, chasing closelybehind.HARRY(firing his wand)Expelliamus!The Death Eater ducks out of the spell's reach behind stacksof boxes and industrial shelves. As he climbs up to a higherlevel the “DARK MARK” tattoo is revealed on his arm. He spotsRon from his new vantage point and fires a curse at him.Expulso!DEATH EATERA box explodes inches from Ron’s head.Stupefy!RONDEATH EATERAvada Kadavra!Ron ducks just in time so that the curse misses barely him.Meanwhile, Harry goes down a different aisle to head off theDeath Eater from the opposite side. Ron distracts the DeathEater with another volley of silent spells causing more boxesto explode on all sides. Harry finally gets a clear shot.HARRYIncarcerous!Ropes burst out from Harry’s wand towards the Death Eater.They wrap around its target bringing him to the ground with aloud “THUD”.Exhausted, Harry and Ron breathe a sigh of relief as theysurvey the damage. Sunrise peaks through the holes in theroof, illuminating what looks like a war zone. Then togetherthey grab the Death Eater and disapparate out of sight.INT. MINISTRY OF MAGIC - EARLY MORNINGOffice door sign: “DEPARTMENT OF MAGICAL LAW ENFORCEMENT -AUROR DIVISION”

2.Several other Aurors are in the office which consists of anumber of desks in an open area, the Chief Auror’s office anda conference room. On one wall is a memorial to fallen Aurorsincluding Mad-eye Moodey and Theodora Tonks. Also on the wallis a status board with pictures of all the Aurors and theirstatus “IN”, “OUT”, “IN DANGER”. At first, the board showsonly Harry and Ron “IN” but then a marker next to CHIEF AURORMCDOUGALL slides from “OUT” to “IN”.Sitting at his desk, Harry works on their report on a magicaltypewriter that types by itself as a bored-looking Ron shootscrumpled up papers into a wastebasket. When he misses, thewastebasket LAUGHS at him. Harry bites back his lips as hestruggles to hold back his own laugh.The CHIEF AUROR MCDOUGALL, a big Scotsman, mid-50s, wearing akilt under his robes, walks into the room.CHIEF AURORGood work, lads. That makes threeDeath Eaters so far this month.RON(disgusted)You’d think after five years we’dbe done dealing with Death Eaters.(to Harry)I mean you killed Voldemort infront of everyone. You’d thinkthey’d have caught on by now.HARRYThey’re probably hoping he hadanother horcrux hidden away.He pulls the report out of the typewriter and puts it in afolder before handing it to the Chief Auror.CHIEF AURORIt's only a matter of time ...somepeople just canna except thatVoldemort isn't coming back.RONStupid Gits!HARRY(looking at his watch)Damn...we're gonna be late!They jump up from their chairs and grab their coats to leave.

3.EXT. QUIDDITCH STADIUM - DAYIt's an intense match between the Holyhead Harpies and theTutshill Tornadoes professional Quidditch teams. Players wearhelmets with their uniforms: Holyhead Harpies in dark greenand Tutshill Tornadoes in sky blue. The players move so fastthat they blend into the sky or grass depending on where youare sitting in the large stadium.The Tornadoes steal the quaffle from the Harpies but theysteal it back and score. An angry Tornado fires a bludger atthe Harpie seeker out of spite, knocking her off her broom.Another player catches her before she crashes to the ground.Pulling away from a Harpies formation, a player with "POTTER"written on the back of the uniform jersey sees the snitch andpursues it, racing against the opponent's seeker. Potter outflies the seeker and catches the snitch with ease.ANNOUNCERPotter has caught the snitch. Gameover. It’s the Holyhead Harpies by300 points.The crowd goes wild as Potter holds up the golden snitch.GINNY takes off her helmet and shakes free her long red hair.She flies to the stands stopping in front of Harry who isleaning on the side where she can reach him. Sitting next tohim are Ron and HERMIONE who are still cheering along withLUNA LOVEGOOD and NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM.HARRY(proudly)Nice catch, Potter!Ginny leans over and gives Harry a kiss. As she pull away shetosses him the snitch. He catches it and the crowd CHEERSagain.INT. QUIDDITCH STADIUM - LATERA few people are still milling about the stadium halls. Ajanitor is guiding a magical mop cleaning up after thecrowds.Ginny comes out of the locker room and is greeted by Harry,Ron, Hermione, Luna and Neville.RONGreat game, sis...love it when aChaser catches the snitch.

4.Thanks!GINNYNEVILLEAnyone up to coming by the LeakyCauldron? Hannah Abbott just tookover the place from her uncle andhas made some nice changes. I'mhelping her out until schoolstarts.HARRYSorry...can’t tonight. We’ve gotTeddy this week.RONJust back from the honeymoon andalready baby-sitting?GINNYOh, we don't mind.LUNA(to Ginny)How come you didn't hyphenate yourname?GINNYI dunno...Weasley-potter soundedtoo much like a furry potterymaker.Hey...RONGINNY(to Hermione)What about you? 5.HERMIONENo, the Society for the Promotionof Elfish Welfare is still goingstrong. I just think I can protectthem better by prosecuting thosewho treat them badly.HARRYI think it’s going to be great. Thethree of us working together...justlike old times.The group walks down the hallway, all smiles except Ron whosuddenly very quiet.INT. WEASLEY SHOP - DAYRon walks into the chaos of toys and noise that is theWeasley Wizard Wheezes shop. He waves to ANGELINA, 24, anathletic, dark skinned beauty, who's taking care of acustomer. He walks to the back room, through a horde ofescaped pygmy puffs.BACK ROOMRon finds GEORGE WEASLEY, 24, with one ear covered, at atable tinkering with a new item for the store that lookssomething like a Magic 8 ball.RONHey George, whatcha working on?GEORGEI thought it was time we add somenew products to our store.RONGreat...(pause)What is it?GEORGEYou know how a Rememberall tellsyou that you’ve forgotten somethingbut doesn’t tell you what?RONYeah, it’s more annoying thenactually not being able to rememberwhat you forgot.

6.GEORGEWell, this gadget will be able tellyou what you forgot. Let’s give ita try. Pick it up and hold ittight. Now try to remember whatyou had for breakfast on Thursday.Ron takes the ball from George but nothing happens. He shakesit and a letter appear.... “FOOD.”GEORGE (CONT’D)(frustrated)Something’s not right.RONTechnically, I did have food forbreakfast. It just needs some alittle more work. Can I can help?He sits down at the table in George and they immediatelybegin taking the ball apart. Angelina walks into the room.ANGELINAHey Ron, where’s Hermione?RON(grumpy)She’s working. She’s alwaysworking.GEORGEYou don’t sound too happy about it.RONI dunno. Being an Auror isdangerous enough and now Hermione’sgonna be prosecuting these cases.GEORGEWorried the Death Eaters will beafter you both. ‘Cause that’s neverhappened before.RONIt never seems to end. Harry and Ispent all night chasing a DeathEater who killed those muggles inthe docklands last week. I thoughtthings would be better by now.GEORGEAh...the glamorous life of anAuror. Could be worse.(MORE)

7.GEORGE (CONT'D)You could be making useless toysand potions all day.ANGELINAGrass is always greener, isn’t it?She smiles and picks up some boxes before leaving them totheir work.EXT. GRIMMAULD PLACE - EARLY EVENINGGRIMMAULD PLACE FACADE WITH CHILDREN PLAYING ON THE SIDEWALK.INT. GRIMMAULD PLACE LIVING ROOM - EARLY EVENINGHarry is chasing a blue-haired TEDDY, 6, around the brightand airy living room. Teddy is in his pajamas and almostready for bed. The chase ends when they crash into the sofaand a tickle fight begins.TEDDY(giggling)Stop! Stop!HARRYAw...but I haven't seen you inforever and I have lots of ticklingto make up for.Harry gets one more tickle in before they stop to catch theirbreath.TEDDY(suddenly serious)Uncle Harry, can I come live withyou?HARRYBut who would take care of yourGran? She'd miss you terribly.TEDDYI don’t think she’d mind. I think Imake her tired.HARRYYou’re being silly.TEDDYAnd, if I live here you and Ginny,you can be like my new dad and mum.

8.HARRYTeddy, I know how you feel. My mumand dad died when I was a baby,too.Harry pulls his wallet out of his pocket. Sitting closetogether, he shows Teddy an old PHOTO of him with hisparents. It's next to his Auror BADGE and a PHOTO of him withGinny.HARRY (CONT’D)See that’s them.I had to live with my aunt & unclewho didn't like me very much. Andmy godfather...well... he wasn'table to be around. You, on theother hand, have a grandmother wholoves you very much and you have meand Ginny. We all love you.(kissing Teddy on top ofhis now brown-hairedhead)I miss your parents, too.TEDDYWhat were they like?HARRYThey were among bravest people Iever knew. They were part of theOrder of the Phoenix which helpedbring down a very bad man.TEDDYBut Gran said you did that!HARRYI couldn’t have done it withoutthem.TEDDYTell me a story about them.HARRYOkay...hmm... well, there was oncea time that I was on the HogwartsExpress and...CUT TO GRIMMAULD PLACE KITCHEN - LATERHarry walks into the kitchen to help Ginny who is cleaning upthe table after dinner. In the sink, a magic sponge isscrubbing a pot.

9.BURNING IN THE FIREPLACE IS A COPY OF THE DAILY PROPHET WITHAN ARTICLE BY RITA SKEETER. (HEADLINE): “TROUBLE IN POTTERPARADISE?”HARRY(shaking his head)Who needs wood when we have theDaily Prophet?GINNYSpeaking of The Daily Prophet...they’ve has offered me a job as asports writer. What do you think?I’ll be near enough to Rita Skeeterto hex her next time she makes uplies about us.HARRYCouldn’t you just accidently hither with a quaffle at your nextgame... like you usually do?GINNYOh, that’s a given. Hmm, maybe Ishould substitute as a bludger nexttime.They both laugh. She moves over to the sink to dry thedishes. He puts them away as she dries them.GINNY (CONT’D)But... it would mean that I couldbe home more. No away games.HARRYGinny, if you want to write, thenby all means write. But, don’t giveup your Quidditch career just forme. I love you no matter what.GINNYI love you, too, but it’s going tobe a bit difficult to throw aquaffle when I’m as big as one.She puts his hand on her belly. Harry looks down at whereshe’s put his hand then looks back up in surprise.HARRYReally? When?

10.GINNYNot for a while so don’t tellanyone yet. I don’t want to getbenched before I need to!Harry pulls her into an embrace and holds her tight.HARRY(softly)We’re going to have a baby.INT. AURORS' OFFICE - DAYHarry and Ron are walking into the office when the ChiefAuror stops in front of them. He hands them a case folder.CHIEF AURORNew case, lads.What now?RONHARRYReal Death Eaters? Or wannabes?CHIEF AURORThere's an old seer waiting for youin the conference room. She claimssomeone is tampering with time.Barking, if you ask me.Harry and Ron enter the conference room. It's their formerDivination teacher from Hogwarts --PROF TRELAWNEY, aneccentric middle-aged woman with large glasses that make hereyes seem like large bug eyes.PROF TRELAWNEYHarry, thank goodness it’s you.(grabbing his arms)Can you feel it too? It’s time.Time has changed.HARRYProfessor Trelawney, why do youthink that?PROF TRELAWNEY(befuddled)Because I-I can feel it. I justknow. Here, let me show you.RONHere we go again...

11.Professor Trelawney digs through her very large bag. Shefinally pulls out her tarot cards and begins to lay them outon the table.(intercut with inserts of the cards)PROF TRELAWNEYThe first card is a DARK-HAIREDMAGICIAN. The second-- A RED-HAIREDFOOL.RONWhy does she always pick ongingers?PROF TRELAWNEYThe third card is a THIEF or theknight of Swords.... a CLOCK TOWERBEING STRUCK BY LIGHTENING. And,the last card is WAR.(to Harry)These are the only cards that everturn up anymore. The Time Thiefwill bring You-Know-Who back. Youhave to stop him.INT. MINISTRY ELEVATOR - LATERRONWhat do you think? Someone messingwith a time turner?HARRY(shakes his head)Can’t be. Remember, we destroyedthem all. What was it? 9-10 yearsago?RONBut if the Ministry HAD all thosetime turners in the first place.Someone has to know how to makeone.HARRYWe should talk to someone down inthe Department of Mysteries and seewhat they say.

12.INT. DEPT. OF MYSTERIES - CONTINUOUSElevators open on Level Nine. Harry and Ron walk down ahallway covered in black tiles. They pass through severalsecurity points including an extra ID check and a mysteriousmist. Harry and Ron reach the end of the hall and enter acircular room with 12 doors.SECURITY VOICE (FEMALE)Thank you for visiting theDepartment of Mysteries. Pleasestate the name of the room whichyou’d like to visit.Time.HARRYThe room remains stationary but the doors around them beginto move. They rotate slowly at first, then faster.RON(rubbing his arm)I remember this room now. I wonderif they still have that room fullof brains.HARRY(haunted)Or the arch with the veil.It stops and the door in front of them opens.SECURITY VOICEThank you. Please step forward andmind the gap.TIME ROOMThey enter a long room lit up by a large crystal the size ofa baseball. It sits in the on a pillar in the center of theroom, encased in glass. As they look around they see onewall covered with all kinds of clocks. The room is filledwith half-empty shelves, a desk, and a few cabinets. Harrywalks up to one of the file cabinets and reads the labels:“FAILED ATTEMPT” on one “NEEDS FURTHER STUDY” on another.As they look around, in walks the haughty looking Timedivision director, DR CRONSON, 70s. Two steps behind him,holding a clip board, is his ASSISTANT, a plain-lookingmiddle-aged woman with salt and pepper hair.

13.DR CRONSON(formally)I’m Dr. Cronson and this is myassistant. You must be...HARRY(cuts in)Potter and this is my partner, RonWeasley.They shake hands as introductions are made. The assistantholds Harry’s hand a little longer than necessary as shesearches for his now nearly invisible scar.DR CRONSON(dismissive)My assistant.HARRYWe need your help with aninvestigation we’re doing on areported shift in time.DR CRONSONWe haven’t detected any time shiftsor paradoxes. Is your sourcereliable?HARRYOur source is a verified seer.DR CRONSON(even more skeptical)And you’re sure that this source isreliable?RONHaven’t you been able to make moretime turners?DR CRONSONWe’ve had only very limitedsuccess. We have one partiallyworking time turner but it willonly take the user back in time 10minutes at the most. It is safelylocked away.ASSISTANTIt’s sad when you think about it.Our research was almost to thepoint of having a time portal whichcould take you back and forth intime with ease.(MORE)

14.ASSISTANT (CONT'D)Unfortunately it, and most of ourknowledge, was destroyed with thetime turners about 10 years agowhen a group of Hogwarts studentsfelt the need to lead a battleagainst Death Eaters here in theDepartment of Mysteries.Harry and Ron exchange guilty looks in the awkward silence.RONHey, they picked the place, not us.Just saying.DR CRONSONWe were able to recreate somespells but, unfortunately, theprocess takes years. It allrevolves around a Crystal Key whichmust be cured with time.HARRYWho has access to this information?DR CRONSONOnly my staff...(gives assistant anannoyed look)and they are sworn to secrecy.RONAre these the files here?DR CRONSONI’m afraid that’s a secret.INT. MINISTRY ELEVATOR - LATERDeflated, Harry and Ron lean against the back wall of theelevator as it takes them back upstairs. They stare paperplane inter-office memos flying around the ceiling.RONJust think...if we had a timeturnerwe could have ended thebattle of Hogwarts sooner. Fredwould still be alive.HARRYYeah, Remus & Tonks too.

15.INT. LEAKY CAULDRON - EARLY EVENINGHarry and Ron are blasted by the noise as they enter acrowded Leaky Cauldron. They make their way to the bar whereblond haired HANNAH ABBOTT (23) and Neville are servingdrinks.HANNAHHey guys, where’s Hermione?RON(looking around)She said she’d to meet us here.NEVILLEWhat will you be havin’ while youwait?HARRYTwo Firewhiskys.Behind the counter, glasses are magically filling themselves.Neville takes filled two glasses and slides it over to them.The guys survey the room which is filled with a combinationof former Hogwarts schoolmates, older wizards, witches, and afew goblins.DRACO MALFOY, 23, enters the Leaky Caldron from Diagon Alley.He makes his way through the crowded room followed by a smallgroup of former Slytherins.Not far from Harry and Ron, Luna is talking to a veryattentive man (25-30). She’s showing him an exotic animalthat looks part-cat, part-kneazle. Luna looks up, seeingHarry and Ron, then makes her way to them.RON(to Harry)Cheers.Ron drinks up. Just as Harry is about take a sip, Luna comesup next to them.HARRYHey Luna, what’s up?LUNAHave you heard about the timeshift?HARRY(exchanges look with Ron)Um, what have you heard?

16.LUNAI haven’t heard anything but(looking at her pet)Mr. Snuggles is acting up.RONYour pet told you that timeshifted?LUNAMy pets have been acting up lately.It’s just like when animals predictearthquakes. Magical creatures getupset when time changes the naturalorder of things.Harry is suddenly HIT with the impact of DRACO MALFOY bumpinginto him.DURING THE IMPACT, DRACO SLIPS A PIECE OF PAPER INTO HARRY’SJACKET POCKET.DRACOWatch where you’re going, Potter!HARRYGet your eyes checked, Malfoy.As Draco leaves the Leaky Caldron, Harry pulls the note outof his pocket and reads it.RONThat tosser. We saved his ass morethan once. He owes us!HARRYWe have to get back to theMinistry. Something’s happeningtonight.RONHow do ya know that?HARRYMalfoy... Like you said, he owesus.Harry puts a couple of galleons down on the bar to pay fortheir drinks.RON(to Luna)Listen, we gotta go.(MORE)

17.RON (CONT'D)Can you please tell Hermione thatwe had to go back to work?(to himself)... if she still isn’t there.They give Hannah and Neville a wave as they leave the LeakyCaldron to head back to the Ministry of Magic.INT. MINISTRY OF MAGIC - NIGHTHarry and Ron race through to the Ministry foyer to theelevators. They jump on and take it to Level Nine: theDepartment of Mysteries. They run down the long hall. Theninto the rotating room.Inside the Time Room, they surprise a TIME THIEF (TheAssistant in disguise) who is breaking the glass case holdingthe crystal time key.Harry and Ron aim their wands at the Death Eater who iswearing a time turner similar to the one Hermione had manyyears ago.HARRYPut down your wand and step awayfrom the crystal.The Death Eater pauses only for a moment before shootingspells at them. Harry fires a non-verbal spell with no luck.The Death Eater blocks it. Harry and Ron duck behind a desk.RON(fires back)Stupefy!The Death Eater blocks it again, then aims one at a tallempty shelf. The shelf falls on Harry and Ron.It takes them a few minutes to get out from under it.As they climb out from under it, a Death Eater casts a spellover the time crystal.An explosive wave of energy knocks Harry and Ron to theground again. A few minutes later, they wake up on the floorof the Time room. The room is surprisingly intact with nosign of damage. The crystal is back in its case and the TimeThief is nowhere to be found.RON (CONT’D)Did we just have a really weirddream?

18.HARRYI dunno. Something’s not right andI’m pretty sure it had nothing todo with the Firewhiskey we hadearlier.RONLet’s get out of here.EXT. LONDON STREETS - NIGHTSomething feels strange as they walk home through the streetsof London. The city appears darker, dirtier.HARRYSo how exactly do we explain whathappen Chief McDougall?RONDid anything happen? I’m moreworried about explaining toHermione why we didn’t wait forher. That is if she even showed.HARRYI know things may seem a littlerough right now, but just becausechanged jobs doesn’t mean she’sgonna change who she loves. You twohave been through too much to justforget about each other.Ron goes with Harry as far as Grimmauld place.HARRY (CONT’D)Wanna come in?RONNah, it’s been a long day. See youtomorrow.Ron disapparates out of sight leaving Harry alone on thedoorstep.Harry takes out his keys and goes to unlock the door. The keydoesn’t work. He pulls it out of the lock and checks to makesure it’s the right key. He’s about to try again when thesuddenly door opens.Standing in the doorway is his godfather, SIRIUS BLACK(40ish). Harry is stunned into silent shock.

19.SIRIUS(annoyed)What the hell are you doing here?HARRY(barely able to speak)Sirius?Harry goes to hug him but Sirius holds him back, hands on hisshoulders.SIRIUSAre you drunk?What? No.HARRYSIRIUSListen, I'm not covering for youanymore, Harry. Your parentsdeserve better.HARRYWait. They’re alive, too?EXT. DIAGON ALLEY - SAME TIMERon apparates in front of Weasley Wizard Wheezes. DiagonAlley looks darker than normal. The shop is more subdued withfewer decorations in the windows.INT. WEASLEY SHOP - CONTINUOUSRon walks into the store. At first he's shocked to see thestore so sparsely stocked. He is surprised to see bandagefreeGeorge, whistling while he cleaning up behind thecounter.Your ear?RONHis words freeze on his tongue as he sees Fred walk out ofthe stockroom carrying boxes of merchandise.FREDOf course, we’re here! We’re alwayshere. Welcome to the early stagesof the Weasley Empire.GEORGEWhere have you been? You wanted ajob but you’re always running off.

20.FREDReminds me of us when we were atHogwarts...but no more. There aredreams to be brewed and nightmaresto be warded off.RONGood because right now I’m not sureif I’m in a dream or a nightmare.INT. GRIMMAULD PLACE KITCHEN - LATERSirius and Harry quietly stare at each other across thekitchen table. The fireplace comes to life with a green glowcausing Harry to jump up out of his seat.Out of the fireplace pops an angry JAMES POTTER (Harry’sfather) with LILY POTTER (Harry’s mother) following quicklybehind (both are in their mid-40s). Before James can get toHarry, Lily gets between them; ready for a fight. Instead,Harry grabs them both into a tight hug.HARRYHow is this possible? How are youalive?They look at him like he's insane. They look at Sirius.SIRIUS(indicating to Harry)Must have been hit by a powerfulconfundus charm. He keeps askingfor Ginny and someone named Teddy.HARRYRemus' son.(looking back and forth between hisparents and Sirius)Is Remus alive, too?His mother holds her hand to his head to check if he has afever.JAMES(grumbling)Partying too hard with Malfoyagain.HARRYWhy would you say that?

21.JAMESBecause it happens far too oftenfor your own good.HARRYWell, you and Sirius weren'texactly model students when youwere at Hogwarts.Harry puts his hand over his mouth unsure why he said what hejust did.LILYOh, stop it, you two!HARRYYou don’t understand....(pacing around)I don’t understand.... We werechasing a thief was stealing a timeturner. There was an explosion. Hemust have come into the past andchanged it. What did he do? Whywould he go into the past to saveyou?LILYHarry, why are you making up thesecrazy stories?JAMESBecause he's daft.HARRYI’m not crazy. I’m an Auror and wewere investigating reports thatsomeone was tampering with time. Wealmost caught him but he got away.SIRIUS(scoffs)An Auror? Does that mean you’re anofficial Death Eater now?HARRYWhy on earth would that make me aDeath Eater?SIRIUSBecause only Death Eaters areallowed to have jobs at theMinistry.

22.Harry digs through his pocket for his auror badge. He looksin his wallet but it's not there. The photo of Harry with hisparents is still there but the picture of him with Ginny isgone as well.SIRIUS (CONT’D)(to James)You should take him home with youtonight.HARRY(softly to his parents)Home?INT. BACK ROOM, WEASLEY SHOP - SAME TIMERon has been unsuccessful in explaining the time shift toFred and George. As they sit in the back room work table, Rongets more frustrated.RONI’m telling you the truth. Time haschanged. You shouldn’t even behere!FREDWhere would I be?Ron can’t look Fred in the eye so he changes the subject.RONWhere’s Hermione at? She’ll knowwhat to do.Fred and George look at each other then give Ron aquestioning look.FRED & GEORGE(simultaneously)Who's Hermione?FREDHer-Me-OwnGEORGEOh-My-KneeRONMy fiance?FREDHow can you have a fiance whenyou’ve never even had a girlfriend?

The seats around the courtroom are sparselyfilled with members of Voldemort’s inner circle includingSnape and LUCIUS MALFOY (mid-50s with long, flowing whitehair).

62.Harry and Draco Malfoy are among the last to enter thecourtroom. Draco drags him to a spot at the edge of thecourtroom seating.Harry sees the Time Thief nearby. She looks at the giant hourglass filled with sand hanging on the wall, then casts aknowing smile at Harry.HARRYOne more hour. One more hour and itwill be three days.DRACOWhat are you mumbling about?HARRY(curious)Why aren’t they wearing masks?DRACOWhy would they need masks? There’snothing to hide.Harry feels the poke of a stick from behind. Hesees evil around him including his father.Members of the Order surround the Death Eaters ready toattack. Their cheers are interrupted when Neville Longbottomshouts from where he stands at the upper row of seats.NEVILLENo! You are not offering peace.The wizard community does not standbehind you.(raising his wand atVoldemort)We are ALL Wizards!Get him!VOLDMORTBattle breaks out between the Order and the Death Eaters.Voldemort leaves his platform to fight Neville who is backedup by James and Sirius.Draco seeks out Harry who is fighting a Death Eater and pullshim away.DRACOHow could you do this? I trustedyou.HARRYDraco, pick a side. This isn’tabout money or being a pureblood.This is war against evil.Harry leaves Draco to fight another Death Eater.

65.Draco pulls off his Death Eater robes and joins the fightwith the Order taking out several surprised initiates aroundhim.James almost breaks through Voldemort’s protection charm soVoldemort apparates to the other side of the courtroom.James and Sirius laugh at Voldemort’s retreat.SIRIUSWe’ve got him on the run, James!Neither see Pettigrew come up behind them.PETERAvada Kadavra!Pettigrew shows his true colors and kills Sirius.Harry watches, as if in slow-motion, Sirius fall to theground.No!JAMES(furious)James kills Pettigrew in retaliation.Harry and Ron fight a skilled Death Eater. They duck to avoida curse that they don’t have enough time to block.Stupefy!HERMIONEThe Death Eater goes down.RONSee...I told you...you are the bestwitch I know.Voldemort and the Time Thief see Harry and attack.VOLDMORTYou can’t fight time. It’s not onyour side. In a few minutes, you’llbe dead or you’ll be one of us.HARRYYou don’t control time or mydestiny.He fires several silent spells but Voldemort blocks them.James, Lily, and Neville come to his aid. Lily and Nevillebattle the time thief while James and Harry battle Voldemort.

66.From the other side of the courtroom Snape sees Lily fightingand then enters the battle fighting Malfoy as he tries tomake his way over to her.Voldemort disapparates in puff of smoke. With Voldemortgone, a Death Eater that was directly behind him sends acurse at Harry. James jumps in front of Harry to save him andis killed.Harry is in shock as he watches his father fall to theground. The only sound he hears is that of his motherscreaming.James!LILYDistracted by seeing her husband killed, the Time Thiefshoots a bright green flash at Lily; killing her instantly.Snape, Harry, and Neville kill the Time Thief with theircombined curses.From off to the side, Lucius Malfoy curses Snape and mortallywounds him. Neville goes after MalfoyHarry is about to go to his mother’s side when Snape grabshim by the pant leg. Harry leans down to hear Snape’s finalwords.SNAPEHarry....the Time Room. Go!HARRYBut you said...SNAPEIt doesn’t matter now. Go beforeit’s too late.Snape hands Harry his Ministry ID card before once again diesin his arms. Harry looks up at the hour glass. There’s only asmall amount of sand left.INT. DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES - CONTINUOUSHarry leaves the court room and runs up the stairs to in theDepartment of Mysteries. Ron and Hermione see him and leavethe fight to join follow.Harry makes it into the time room where he finds the time keybigger and glowing brighter than ever.

67.Ron and Hermione race into the room a few second behind him.The room is overflowing with clocks and shelves filled withdifferent types of time turners.RONHarry, what are you doing? We needyou back in the fight?HERMIONEIt’s too late.HARRYI don’t believe that.VOLDEMORTYou should listen to your friends.Voldemort apparates behind them.Harry breaks the cased holding the time key then grabs it.HARRY(pointing to a nearbyshelf)Accio Time Turner!A time turner flies off the shelf into his hand while Ron andHermione block Voldemort’s spells.He activates the time turner, then quickly grabs Ron andHermione. As they are about to disappear, Harry shatters thetime key so that Voldemort cannot follow them.A bright green light shoots out of Voldemort’s wand seekingto kill, but the trio have already disappeared into the past.EXT. GODRIC’S HALLOW - 22 YEARS EARLIER - NIGHTIt’s Halloween night and Harry, Ron and Hermione are hidingin an alley way near the Potter home. They watch as severaltrick or treaters walk by the Potter home without giving it asecond glance.HARRYKeep your eye out for Voldemort. Heshould be arriving soon. We needto get to her before she stops him.RONBut Harry, your parents.HERMIONEWhat are we doing here?

She pauses waitingfor Voldemort to apparate.Voldemort apparates in front of the Potter home.Before the Time Thief can move an inch she is struck by threedifferent curses:LanglockHERMIONERONIncarciousHARRYExpelliarmus!The Time Thief is disarmed, gagged and tied up on the ground.The trio grab her and move her into their hiding spot. Stilltrying to fight them off, they hold her down as historycorrects itself.In his mind, Harry can see Lord Voldemort step over James’dead body on the staircase. He can see Voldemort kill Lily,then aim his wand at baby Harry.Explosion...wave of energy is unleashed as time is reset.INT. DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES - PRESENTHarry and Ron slowly rise up from the floor. They are in theDepartment of Mysteries surrounded by debris just as they hadbeen previously. The key is destroyed.

69.The time thief is semi-conscious on the floor. Ron looksaround for Hermione but she’s not there.RONIncarcerous.Hermione comes racing into the room followed by severalAurors.HERMIONEWhat happened? If felt like anearthquake upstairs.RONTime Thief.Ron motions to the Aurors to take away the Time Thief. Theypick her up and drag her away.Harry stands in place staring at the broken shards of thetime key...still in shock from what has just happened.HERMIONEHarry, are you okay?Ginny!HARRYHarry runs out of the time room.RONHe’s had a rough night to say theleast.EXT. GRIMMAULD PLACE - NIGHTHarry apparates in front of his home and runs insideINT. GRIMMAULD PLACE BEDROOM - CONTINUOUSHarry runs inside to find Ginny reading a bedtime story toTeddy.
