1970-February 14 th , 2008<br />

* 1970 opened as Cinema I & II with 700 <strong>and</strong> 640<br />

seats. No ads in newspapers.<br />

* 1973 Cinemas III, IV, V & VI opened at the other<br />

side of the mall. It was a separate business unit.<br />

* 1988 Cinemas I & II closed for renovations when<br />

four more small cinemas were dug out below<br />

cinema I & II. The mall was forced to close down<br />

due to construction mishaps. When Macy’s came<br />

to the mall they pay General Cinemas to build<br />

four more screens above the food court with a<br />

whopping 2,000 more seats<br />

* 2002 taken over by AMC<br />

* February 14 th , 2008 closed<br />
