Mission Statement<br />
The mission of the <strong>Student</strong> Government Advising, Training and Operations office at<br />
the University of South Florida is to advise and assist <strong>Student</strong> Government members<br />
with the planning and implementation of programs, operations, and services as<br />
we strive to foster student support, community engagement, and leadership<br />
development to ensure both student and organizational success.<br />
Accomplishments & Achievements<br />
• Hosted the Sam Gibbons Leadership Series Commemoration & Kick-off Event<br />
that promoted unity between academic, administrative, alumni and civic<br />
partnerships across the <strong>USF</strong> system.<br />
• Coordinated the Tampa <strong>Student</strong> Government funded Fallen Bull Memorial/<strong>Student</strong><br />
Memorial and the Lakeland <strong>Student</strong> Council funded Lakeland Campus Memorial<br />
projects on the Tampa campus with university administration representatives.<br />
Both groundbreaking ceremonies were held in April.<br />
Facilitated <strong>USF</strong> Day @ the Capitol with 60 Tampa<br />
campus students attending.<br />
