It has been an interestingjourney that began in December of 2006 that hasled me to this very moment. To this momentwhile I pen these very words you’re reading.By the time you read this, I will only be a namein forgotten archives. By the time you read this,I will have handed over the burden only a fewhave volunteered to experience. Here, inour homelands. To those who will lay the futurepath with their blood, sweat, and tears.My situation was an odd one. I had not served inany other kingdom office besides a three monthpro-tem champion position. When I was usheredby the intense desire to give back to the dreamMonarch’s Farewellthat had already given so much to me, I realizedthat as monarch; I could change the world.The fear that this member of the populace, lackingin a political resume that would thwart anydoubt nearly overshadowed the phoenix’s light. Istrove to show the darkest corners of this kingdom,that even the meekest can have illusions ofgrandeur. And with the Phoenixs’ guidance,could make those illusions a reality.My reign, just like any other; was not an easytask. It was fraught with disension and ill-wishers.It was weighed down with those who activelysought to drag the spirit of the reign into thedarkest pits of political mire. I survived, myreign a successful and memorable one, indeed!Stand fast and strong, for they will fade, andyour legacy will remain.Where you thought you had friends, you mayfind disillusionment. Where you thought you hadenemies, you may find indifference.
