He occupiedthe pulpit unti l October 21, 1855.The church edifice was erected in the ;rear I S;,):!, and wasopened for public worship on the first Sunday of J anuary, 1853.Th e size of the building is 40 by 60 feet ; the spire is 110feet high ; 11 bell, of 1000 pounds weight , was purchased and isnow in usc.
