FEATURE: BRO. STAN GUILDEvery morning at 6am Bro. Stan Guild buckles on hiscamel-pack water cooler, pockets his police baton, and jogsfrom the rental home to the work-site. Drenched in sweat,wearing his hawaiian brimmed hat, he works tirelessly,seemingly unaffected by the harsh environment - anabsolute super-star! Without a single doubt, the HopeCorps Training Center be in the current phase of finalbuilding construction if it were not for the relentlessendurance of a very special man! Thank you Bro. Guild forleaving your mark of craftsmanship on the building, yousacrifice will not be easily forgotten!Bro. Guild was responsible for building the Gazeboabove the sceptic/wash room, as well as fabricating the roofand finishing some incomplete plumbing.FEATURE: BRO. ROBERT RODRIGUEZBro. Robert Rodriguez (currently enlisted in the US Armyand a Preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ) recently visited<strong>Roatan</strong> to get plugged in to what God is doing here!Immediately upon his arrival, Bro. Rodriguez was engraftedinto the Honduran culture, and at one point asked him not toleave! Working on the Hope Corps Training Center, teaching aBible study in La Colonia and before the baptism, and finallypreaching on Sunday night is a small glimpse into our weekwith Bro. Rodriguez! Prior to his visit, there were several menand women in the church troubled with the idea of being rebaptizedto adjust to fit the Biblical model, however, after aweek long study with these very significant people, they finallyreceived the revelation of Jesus name baptism, and werebaptized that week! The people, the Church and the HopeCorps Training Center will never be the same - thank you forsharing your burden - we LOVE you!HOPE CORPS TRAINING CENTER PROGRESSConstruction at the Hope Corps Training Center has madetremendous progress over the course of the last thirty days! Inless than 30 days, the Hope Corps Training Center will beteaming with upwards of 75 people - some in classrooms, somein dormitories, some preparing food in the kitchen and somerelaxing on the patio. Needless to say, we are in the finalstretch, and appreciate every volunteer supporters who ishelping to make this miracle a reality! Since our last newsletter,28 ceiling fans, 18 door hardware’s and 8 mahogany doors haveall been donated for the completion of the building - thankGod for his bountiful blessings! PRAYER NEED: BRO. AND SIS. ROBERT NIX" Sis. Nix has been diagnosed with AML, the most aggressive form of leukemia. It doesnot have a good cure rate. Because of her age, Sis. Nix is not a candidate for a bone marrowtransplant. She also has an infection in her lungs right now which makes the leukemia moredifficult to treat. The cancer is so aggressive that they have given them 48 hours to decideon a course of treatment." The immediate need is for divine intervention. Please pray for her complete healing.We must also pray that God will guide the Nix family in coming to a decision within thenext 48 hours. We are asking our partners and those acquainted with these world-class andirreplaceable people to do what you can to help alleviate the tremendous burden this hascreated. Each week, Godis opening another door, connecting us to another familyand showing more favor on the ministry! Since we weregifted the property at the top of Bella Vista, a mountainousnative village, we have worked together with the churchmembers to envision a plan. Over 25 men have offered theirskills and labor to help build the first Apostolic Church inLa Colonia (the image to the right). Last Sunday, the menworked together to plant stakes for the buildingfoundation, and we are in the process of beginningconstruction on the site in the coming weeks and months!The building is block, and can seat upwards of 200 people -with God’s help, we are believing for a Apostolic revival likenever seen before! As you canimagine, we were apprehensive about how to maneuver through the danger.We met the man who heard of the plot at a localgas supermarket, and talked through the details.He said, “You must prepare for the worst, thesepeople are dangerous, and they are coming formoney.” Immediately we began to pray fordirection - as we were driving away, we metMatute, the Chief of Police, who offered hisservices for personal protection. Thanks toGod’s protection, we now have a personalpolice escort, and a friend in the force. During this time, under theleadership of Bishop Nathaniel Wilson andPastor Myles Young of The Rock Church inSacramento, California, he has served in anumber of leadership roles to include: Pastor ofOutreach and Home Missions Pastor / ChurchPlanter in both Rancho Cordova, CA &Missoula, MT. These efforts have culminated in this mission to CentralAmerica. As a result of their lifelong efforts, the Malones have left a legacyof revival and church growth. It is with this same energy, experience anddetermination that they seek to facilitate revival in the nation of Honduras.THE JONES’Steven and Rachel Jones received theirappointment as missionaries to Honduras inOctober of 2011 after having served in variousministerial capacities locally at The RockChurch in Sacramento, California.
