between Malta and Gozo and is not inhabited. The only 

constructions are the Comino Hotel and the coastal St. Mary’s

Buggibba is the oldest tourism resort on the

overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with a 

beautiful beach below, the longest stretch of 

sandy beach in Malta.

be entertained. Slide in the Splash and Fun Water

Eating Malta provides a 

comprehensive selection of restaurants catering 

for every taste and offering Italian based diet, 

pub grub and international cuisine. Some of the 

traditional Maltese dishes are "Ftira" (with tuna 

and olives), "Piselli" (pastries stuffed with ricotta 

cheese or green pea mash) or the traditional 

Fennel (rabbit). 

Drinking The national non 

alcoholic drink is called "Kinnie" and is made 

with bitter oranges and herbs. Maltese wines are 

often made with international grapes, varieties 

but the two indigenous vines also provide a 

good and inexpensive (for Irish standards) wine. 

The most popular local beer is called "Cisk". 

Nightlife: Despite of plenty of 

choices for night entertainment throughout the 

island, Paceville (in St. Julian’s) is the most 

renowned area for clubbing, with hundreds of 

pubs and clubs where to dance the night long. 

Even though the local authorities have forced 

bars and clubs to turn off their music at 4am, 

they can continue serving alcohol. Nightlife
