Cash only to facilitate shopping.No later than the March 5, 2013 Troop Meeting.We will stay in the Aquatics cabin at the edge of Russell Pond in the beautiful Horace A Moses ScoutReservation (1600 acres)! This is a return visit to a location the troop first visited back in 2003. We’ll besleeping on bunks in a cabin that holds up to 30 people. The cabin has a wood stove, and is a great placefor playing board games or cards. On Saturday, the troop will go on a hike. Weather-permitting, we’ll dosome sledding and/or snowshoeing. We can bring our vehicles right up to the campsite, so you can packin duffle bags instead of frame packs. Scouts should eat dinner before departing Friday evening. Driver and Vehicle Information<strong>BSA</strong> regulations are very stringent on how the Troop transports its Scouts. Whenever we traveloutside the Knox Trail Council’s boundaries we are required to file a tour permit. This permit isthe <strong>BSA</strong>’s way of insuring we have adequate supervision and transportation for the trip. A keypart of this tour permit process is listing all the vehicles and their drivers. This registrationprocess also extends the <strong>BSA</strong>’s insurance protection to each driver and vehicle.Driver’s Name:Driver’s License Number:Year, Make & Model of Vehicle:Number of Scouts you can transport (you must have aworking seat belt for each Scout):Property & Liability Insurance Coverage - (<strong>BSA</strong>recommends at least $50,000 & $50,000/$100,000, seelines 4 and 5 from your Auto Insurance Coverage Page ):Recognizing the confidential nature of this material, only the Troop’s Trip Coordinator maintains a copy of this information.Each time you transport Scouts on a Trip, this information is recorded on the Troop’s Tour Permit filed with the Knox TrailCouncil. This information is also carefully safeguarded at the Council office and is used only to extend <strong>BSA</strong> trip insurancecoverage to each driver and their vehicle.
