The jumping to bejudged 40% for actual jumping, 20% for style and presence. Ride and conformation 40%.Fences to be minimum of eight and a maximum of twelve in number and a maximumheight of 1.14m (3ft 9ins) at the discretion of the judge. Fences should have a naturalappearance and not be easily dislodged. No un‐numbered obstacle can be included in thecourse. The manner of going to be taken into account. No change of rider or tack will beallowed. A rider can ride up to two horses in the jumping phase, but then must select onlyone horse to take forward into the ride and conformation section if so required (no changeof rider is allowed). A skull cap (with navy blue or black cover) or hat and safety harnessaccording to the current approved BSI or European Standard must be worn by ALLcompetitors in the jumping phase. Grade ‘A’ show jumpers and Advanced Event horses arenot eligible to compete in Working Hunter classes. Any horse which has qualified as aGrade A Show Jumper or Advanced Event <strong>Horse</strong> as at 1st January in the current year is noteligible to compete in Working Hunter classes. Exhibitors will jump in catalogue order. Allobstacles are to be numbered. <strong>Horse</strong>s may be equipped with boots of a plain colour forthe jumping phase only, see SHB(GB) 2011 Rules, ref. ridged or weighted boots. No hindboots or bandages of any description are allowed in the collecting ring, warm up or in theactual class. In the event of a tie in marks, the conformation mark will take precedence,followed by the ride mark, followed by the style mark. Working hunters should initially becalled in and lined up in random order.Class6 WORKING HUNTER, MARE, GELDING or STALLION, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms (14.2hh).
