Guild Co-Presidents Letter:As we reflect on our yearswith the Menorah ManorGuild, we are filled witha sense of satisfaction andaccomplishment.Menorah Manor volunteershave always been anintegral part of helpingwith the spiritual, cultural,recreational and educationalneeds of our residents in aneffort to enrich and nurturetheir happiness and wellbeing. As co-presidents of the Guild, our vision is L’dor V’dor,for our children and grandchildren to spend their adult yearsinvolved in our existing location and at our future assisted livingresidence, the Inn on the Pond.Our function is both social as well as philanthropic. Ourcommittees work diligently to bring the Menorah Manor Guildsome very enjoyable programs and events that raise funds forspecial programs and equipment for our residents. Celebration2011 is one of many events that have been arranged andimplemented by volunteers. As our volunteer director, BonnieBerman, has quoted numerous times, “You make a living by whatyou do, but you make a life by what you GIVE!”It is because of the hard work of volunteers that the Guild Gift& Coffee Shop is “the heart of Menorah Manor.” We are alwayslooking for new volunteers to work in our gift shop as well asperform other important functions at Menorah Manor.
