Theprinciple of design has been proved over many years of reliableperformance throughout many industries. The <strong>Mini</strong><strong>Slit</strong> is basedon a continuous cyclic sequence of operation with electropneumaticallypowered sack opening functions making it idealfor operations requiring 4-8 sacks per minute.The MinI<strong>Slit</strong> has a small foot-print and due to its principle ofoperation is most suitable for free-flowing and lightly compactedmaterials in sacks.The <strong>Mini</strong><strong>Slit</strong> can be supplied with the options of a horizontalinfeed roller conveyor for manual feeding of the machine orwith an powered inclined infeed conveyor.The band-knife cutting blade utilised on the MIni<strong>Slit</strong> achieves avery efficient cut and emptying operation of the product fromthe sack. As the sack is being conveyed through the blade systema clean cut is made through its length and then retracted leavingthe end of the sack uncut. The bottom and the top halves of thesack are transferred via inverter discs in a continuous operationinto the waste sack screw compactor where secondary dischargeof product can take place as the sack is collected and thencompacted out into a dust-tight polythene tube attached to thecompactor outlet.A dust extraction spigot or an integral dust extraction unit isavailable to ensure maximum dust-tight operation.The <strong>Mini</strong><strong>Slit</strong> can be supplied to operate in various ATEX zonesand where material is of an explosive nature can be fitted witha scope of explosion relief panels or explosion suppressionequipment.The <strong>Mini</strong><strong>Slit</strong> offers many machine finishes from mild steel powdercoated to various levels of stainless steel finishes polished to 240grit which makes it suitable for high specification applications.The <strong>Mini</strong><strong>Slit</strong> can be supplied fully wired to a machine mountedterminal box.
