touched on again when trying to answer the<br />
question whether engine-based plants<br />
increase flexibility or not. The engines this<br />
study is covering are capable of running on<br />
various types of different fuels, including oil<br />
derivatives, natural gas and liquid bio-fuels.<br />
Gas turbines or other alternative technologies<br />
covered in this study show less versatility when<br />
it comes to running on a wide variety of fuels.<br />
This capability allows for many different<br />
options and shows that engine-based solutions<br />
can be very flexible when it comes to the<br />
choice of fuel.<br />
