The Roy Blunt Chair of Historyat Southwest Baptist UniversityThe purpose of this fundraising endeavor is to endow a Chairof History at Southwest Baptist University named in honorof Senator Roy Blunt, SBU class of 1970. All proceeds fromthis endowment will go toward support of the Department ofHistory and the SBU professor named to fill the chair.SBU specializes in graduating student leaderswho are well-prepared for pursuing careers in aglobal society. The history major is recognizedas one of the most traditional liberal artsmajors because of the foundational skills itdevelops for careers involved in higher orderthinking.
