Hiswife preceded him to the home beyond on September 9th, 1909.Mr. Graham joined the Christian Church in early life and has been a faithful member ever since. At the time ofhis death he was a member of the Saline Valley Christian Church. He served in the Miller County Militia as aprivate in Captain J.B. Salsman’s company.He leaves to mourn his loss one son, two daughters, fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren andmany other relatives and friends. Mrs. LucindaAbbett (nee Prock), wife of John Abbett, died Thursday afternoon, March 27, 1941 at her home in Iberia at the ageof 81 years. She had been a resident of Miller County all her life and was an aunt of probate judge C.M. Abbett ofTuscumbia.Lucinda Sedonia Abbett, daughter of John and Elizabeth Prock, was born near Iberia, October 20, 1860. Sheentered into rest at her home in Iberia Thursday, March 27, 1941, at the age of 80 years, five months and 7 days. OnSpetember 16, 1880, she was married to John R. Abbet and to them nine children were born, two of whom precededthe mother in death, one in infancy and Burley who died about four years ago.Surviving are her husband and seven children; Late of Stafford, MO, Oliver of Iberia, Oscar of Oklahoma, Ottoof Crocker, Mrs. Harrison Carroll of Crocker, Mrs Ottie Dickerson of Florida and Mrs. Grace Ransom of Colorado.There are 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. She was a sister ofMrs. John Prock of near Tuscumbia.About 50 years ago, Mrs. Abbet united with the Christian Church and later about the year 1917, she placed hermembership with the Nazarene Church and at the time of her death was a member of the Iberia Nazarene Church.She was a good Christian woman, wife and mother and was loved and respected by everyone.
