Longeneckerheld a book signing at Landis HomesRetirement Community, Lititz, in July.Blair Seitz, 1963, West Reading,recently published the book, Turnthe World Around: A PhotojournalistDiscovers Paths to Peace Traveling aWar-torn Planet.Merle, 1964, and Phyllis Pellman,1966, Good, <strong>Lancaster</strong>, and theirdaughters, Kate Good, 1995, <strong>Lancaster</strong>,and Rebecca Good Fennimore, 1997,<strong>Lancaster</strong>, released a new cookbook,Fix-It and Forget-It New Cookbook. Thenewest member of the popular serieswill be full-color, featuring the workof photographer Jeremy Hess, 1997,<strong>Lancaster</strong>.Phyllis Pellman Good, 1966,<strong>Lancaster</strong>, launched a weekly onlinecooking show called “Cooking withPhyllis.” The show is shot in the upstairsportion of Good Cooking Store andwalks through a recipe from start tofinish. The shows can be found on theYouTube channel of the same nameor on the Fix-It and Forget-It blog orFacebook page.Cheryl Weaver Landis, 1970,Paradise, was selected to give a posterpresentation at the national summitfor the Assessment TechnologiesInstitute (ATI), a national nursingeducation and testing organization.Her poster was about connecting theclassroom and clinical experiencethrough simulations. Landis was alsoawarded first place for a presentationon the same topic during the annualconference of the PennsylvaniaAssociation of Practical NursingAdministrators.William K. Poole, 1979, <strong>Lancaster</strong>,was named executive vice president ofIntegrity Bank in May. He previouslyserved as chairman of National PennBank’s <strong>Lancaster</strong> division.Jim Smucker, 1979, Bird-in-Hand,was named the first full-time dean ofgraduate studies at Eastern <strong>Mennonite</strong>University. Smucker is also thepresident and major shareholder of theBird-in-Hand Corporation.Heidi R. Wenger, 1985, Ephrata, isnow the billing and costing clerk atBurkholder Paving.Jennifer King, 1990, Brownstown,was awarded the Platinum Clubaward and inducted into the RE/MAXInternational Hall of Fame. King worksas an associate broker for RE/MAX ofReading.Matthew B. Hartzler, 1991, Manheim,was promoted to president of WarfelConstruction. Hartzler has been withthe business for 18 years and became apartner and vice president in 2007.Eric Kennel, 1999, <strong>Lancaster</strong>,received a master’s degree in publicadministration from Penn StateUniversity in May 2012.
