A Moment with...MARELLEWe have now reached the half waypoint of another busy season. OurAuskickers are flying along with theirskill levels, their social interactionand making new friends. Our playershave improved in their ability to listento coaches and are taking the newskills gained each week at traininginto their games. It is not unusual to see a switch onplay, strong teamwork, purposefulmarking and handballing. Ourcoaches are often asked byopposition coaches on their coachingtechniques and how they get theboys and girls to engage in trainingand bringing into their games. Iguess it is a simple answer from ourcoaches, the boys and girls want tolearn - they listen, they practice andthey are passionate about their sport. From an Auskick Coordinatorsperspective, at Easts we havededicated coaches, who put energyand time into each individual childand their needs, they nuture andpromote good values which in turnbrings out good outcomes on thefield. With five remaining fixture roundsand Gala Days for all age groups overan additional three week period (finalseries), we have a busy time aheadgoing into the second half of theseason. Our children will be againincreasing their skill levels in readinessfor 2016.I would like to take this opportunityto thank all the Auskickers and theirparents and carers, coaches and teammanagers for a fantastic season sofar. Everyone has been supportiveboth on field and off!!
