Global seriesA combination of the latest materials and engineering practices,coupled with Verder’s 50 years’ experience in manufacturingsynchronous magnet-driven seal-less pumps, has created a flexiblerange of pumps ideally suited to modern requirements. Tried andtrusted designs have been updated to allow modular construction,with many interchangeable components. The pumps can beassembled from stock components to give quick response times,whilst spares requirements are kept to an absolute minimum.The Global pump utilises the differential pressure generated by thepumping action to create a flow around the bearings and magnets.The pumped liquid acts as a cooling medium to dissipate the heatgenerated from Eddy Currents as the magnets pass around thecontainment shell. It is also used to lubricate the hydrodynamicbearing sets, with flow from the front bearing passing through thebalance holes of the impeller and flow around the rear bearingre-entering the low pressure suction area of the volute.Specialist in-house engineering capabilities allow Global to offer awide range custom made products, covering extended flow ranges,temperatures and pumps required for use in high system pressureapplications.Features and advantagesSimple by design - fewer parts are used in the whole pump thanmost conventional seal cartridges ensuring easy maintenanceand assemblyBearings - top grade silica free silicon carbide - fitted as standardfor its chemical resistance to most reagents. An added benefit isits exceptional hard wearing capabilities.Only 4 bearing sizes cover the entire Global rangePress fit bearing design - bearings are seated on static O-rings,to absorb small movements and temperature shocks, ensuringconsistently high performance and easy fittingO-rings – gaskets are specially chosen to suit the customer’sspecific requirements.
