an experiential destination thoughtfully redesigned<br />

to stimulate and excite the senses through the use<br />

of stunning architecture and a carefully planned<br />

layout,” Mr Jowett said.<br />

Integral to the new Centre <strong>is</strong> the addition of streetfronted<br />

restaurants and coffee shops. The thinking<br />

premium outlet centre<br />

behind the project <strong>is</strong> to establ<strong>is</strong>h an attractive and<br />

essential location where friends can meet regularly<br />

in Melbourne’s most inclusive retail Centre.<br />

The new façade has been designed to make a<br />

bold and striking statement. The whole building will<br />

be brought forward to the street edge to achieve<br />

maximum impact and v<strong>is</strong>ibility on Whitehorse Road,<br />

one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares.<br />

Cox Architects, one of the country’s leading<br />

architectural firms, has designed the façade in such<br />

a way as to create a clear, inviting view into the<br />

“bright and airy” new <strong>Brand</strong> <strong>Smart</strong> complex.<br />

“Our v<strong>is</strong>ion has been to create Melbourne’s<br />

Premium Outlet Centre where consumer and retail<br />

favourites integrate seamlessly with quality local<br />

and international brands,’’ Mr Jowett said.<br />

So while <strong>Brand</strong> <strong>Smart</strong> undergoes its most significant<br />

reinvention, it will be business as usual at<br />

288 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.<br />
